Netflix - What gems have you found? (NO SPOILERS) (Vol. 2)
Discussion
New on Netflix -Toscana -Valtteri Bottas plays an illustrious chef with anger issues who visits Tuscany to sell his late father’s business. He is reacquainted with his childhood sweetheart and sort of falls in love with her.
A couple of the obligatory 2-up on a Vespa scenes and some gorgeous countryside. Little else.
To extend the Bottas analogy a film with a promising start but as it progresses the pace slackens and after 90 minutes you’re thinking that was underwhelming and I need a beer.

Love, Death, Robots season 3 is now available.
The episodes are very hit and miss for me but the animation is great.
More miss than hit.The episodes are very hit and miss for me but the animation is great.
The last one was the best.
Animation quality definitely improved but the story lacked substance.
That last episode though, wow. 10/10

It looks crap, out of date and lazy to me but i’m not offended.
I'm not sure how his "new women" thing is lazy or out of date. Bang up to date I'd say, and something that should be said. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yI6qvQtrTU8
People have been mocking trans people for years, he's hardly a visionary, and even in that bit he can't help borrow Stewart lee. it's basically "you've seen these new women they have these days' adding new women in stead of rappers ;-)
Again Im not offended I just don't think he's a good stand up, in fact I think he's a terrible hack of a writer and comedian. I appreciate lots of people disagree, and he's a multimillionaire - I can guarantee he mentions that in this standup.
Still enjoyed it though!

LOL at Bottas.. he did look a bit like him! Quite enjoyed this even if it's a bit lightweight. Recognised the main actress from Gomorrah too. A couple of the obligatory 2-up on a Vespa scenes and some gorgeous countryside. Little else.

Started watching Wrong Side of the Tracks. It's basically about an ex war here who lives in an area of urban decline. Drug dealers and violent criminals move in making his life more difficult. His adopted Viatnamese grand daughter gets into a bad situation with the local drug lord and the rest is like any other drama of this ilk except for the awful casting and unbelievable characters.
By episode 4 it really is almost comical and is worth watching in a crap B movie kind of way.
Really enjoying it but probably for the wrong reasons.

All watchable though.
I definitely think Netflix should keep doing these.
Maybe they need to be cautious of some feeling a little samey.

It’s about a nuclear accident. Worth a watch if you enjoy documentaries and wonder why there are not thousands of nuclear plants around.
Or don't; it's cliched rubbish riddled with factual error, there are better docos covering this subject available on youtube(as well as ones that are just as bad, if not worse). It’s about a nuclear accident. Worth a watch if you enjoy documentaries and wonder why there are not thousands of nuclear plants around.
