Luther : The Fallen Sun
I have never seen any of the Luther series so no idea whether it’s good compared to those but…
I enjoyed it. Quite Bondlike in set pieces and cinematography.
Andy serkis hamming it up as the baddy stayed JUST on the right side of silly for me although did stray into dodgy quiz show presenter near the end.
Just over 2hrs long but kept me away from my phone.

The police rushing through that well known Orifice of east London sent shivers down my spine .
I was working there that day .

We have a Ghost
A family move into a run down place only to discover a ghost in the attic.
It's a Ghost meets Ghostbusters movie I guess. It was good, if a tad cheesy.
7/10
It wasn't bad but like a lot of film projects that end up with Netflix it was very thinly written. Often feels like a whole load of bits of story and dialogue have disappeared.A family move into a run down place only to discover a ghost in the attic.

Not something you'd watch twice or remember anything specific from after a week.

Another Round
Absolutely loved it. Best thing so far this year.
I really enjoyed this too. It put me in mind of Sideways, with similar themes of aging, friendship and a large dose of booze. Absolutely loved it. Best thing so far this year.
Clovehitch is a film worth a watch.
Slight variation on the serial killer theme.
The Haunting of Bly Manor
An old manor house is under the control of the lady of the manor who died many years ago, but spirits live on.
It's a couple of years since release, but we only watched it last week.
It's thoroughly gripping. A well written somewhat confusing, but not to the point you become lost in the plot and with excellent narration in parts... we really enjoyed it.
9.5 dead spirits out of 10 living people.

Loved this, did you watch The Haunting of Hill House as well? I liked that slightly more just for the overall plot arch which I found more coherent and rewarding. An old manor house is under the control of the lady of the manor who died many years ago, but spirits live on.

1944: Hitler's Secret Weapon
Previously released as this
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11478458/
This is a powerful film (Russian language)
The Irony is off the scale with what's happening today.
That aside I thought it was one of the best films I've seen in ages!
