Don't think I've seen this film mentioned on here.

Miss Sloane.

Based losely on true events, American gun lobby stuff, very interesting and enjoyable, if somewhat 'wtf, really'??

8/10 bent senators from us thumbup
The other film the same lass starred in about the poker ring was good too.

I am not okay with this

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9446688/

Comedy/drama with a hint of supernatural. Probably aimed at the teen sort of market as is usual with this sort of thing but thought it was decent. Only seven 20ish minute episodes so rinsed them this afternoon. I am okay with I am not okay with this. biggrin

That moment when you watch the final episode of The Expanse, think there's nothing else around, watch 20min of the Brexit podcast thing on BBC News, flick on Netflix just in case and remember that Altered Carbon dropped today not tomorrow.

I reckon I can get them all in by 5am... biggrin

I started watching the recap then decided I couldn't remember any of it so went back to series 1 episode 1. That's how you make the most of Netflix. Regurgitating the older seasons when a new one drops.

Dont forget better call saul although they're teasing us with 1 per week. Mike looks like he is not long for this earth.

Altered Carbon- Season 2. Out yesterday.

Lots of reviews on IMDB slating it, the majority of those with issues clearly never read the books, because they're asking why they change the character from Joel K to Andrew etc.

Anyway, season 2, it's good, but it's not the books. Plenty of characters used from books 2 and 3, but a different story. It's like a mix of Broken Angels and Woken Furies.
Did first 4 episodes last night. Don't know why they only done 8 episodes though.

Drive To Survive 2 is not going to disappoint.

The new lead actor in Altered Carbon is not up to the task really. Still filling a gap until the next Better Call Saul though....

Yes - interesting and WTF.

Just watched The Laundromat.
Great in - in a 'did not expect it to be like this' kind of way.
Is there a better actor than Gary Oldman ?

Another great season of Altered Carbon, one of the best sci-fi shows Netflix has made as far as I am concerned

There’s some great lines in the first episode: “Depends how many cars you smash” hehe

I really enjoyed the Albon episode, although I like him.

I do get the feeling that Netflix is now the story though, not F1. They seem to be breaking the 4th wall a lot with various people referring to them, no longer hidden in the background; 'I see it's your weekend to have them'

ETA my first time watching F1 in 4k and what a difference!

Late to catch up but Narcos Mexico is very nearly as good as the original.

And in the form of Teresa Ruiz features perhaps the sexiest person on planet earth.

I know this is petty but it really bugs me - why didn't they get somebody familiar with F1 to do the radio transcripts / subtitles. So far we've had "breaks" rather than "brakes", and "Keep your dash posted" instead of of "Keep your dash positive" (Horner to Max during a Safety Car).

You don't even need to be familiar with F1 not to make those mistakes. I feel they may have got an automated system to do the captions maybe?
