Cat Person.

A very good film and well cast - Emilia Jones, daughter of Aled Jones no less.

The bad guy isn't evil, just weird and awkward. It's really well done.

And at the same time i wouldn't be surprised at all if he led some sort of regular human sacrifice scientology ritual.

Just finished S1 of Lincoln Lawyer. Thought it was reasonable, a bit too many cliches (at least two epiphany moments) and unsure why two of the characters (or the actors playing them?) had really rough 80-cigs-per-day voices but ok enough to want to watch S2.
Season 2 is more of the same (in a good or bad way depending on whether you liked S1), think I'm up to episode 7 or 8 and the main negative is the main character's accent coming and going a bit more but it's all good fun and doesn't take itself too seriously.
Just finished (at 1:30am) S2 of Lincoln Lawyer. Wish I hadn’t bothered. S1 was just about bare-able but S2… horsest. Worked out how it was going to pan out WAY before the ‘big reveal’ and the mother character was straight out the stereotype playbook.

Fat Friends

Presumably where all the Gavin And Stacey cast met and decided to create that show, it’s a shame we seldom make hard hitting comedy drams like this anymore.
I've just started this and actually quite enjoying it smile
I haven't finished it yet but is it me of has it turned from comedy to soap drama which isn't that funny?

The Job Lot. Sitcom from 2013, 3 series. Comedy about workers in a Job Centre, sounds terrible but quite funnny - category 15 so some good banter ! Great cast, worth a try, I have binged it !

Three body problem - was enjoying its sort-of-grounded science , and characters ..... until ep 5 then after that it opened up into a plot hole riddled mess with nonsense macGuffins and 2 min problem solving of massive technological issues....................... ep 1-5 8/10, then 4/10 for me.

Spaceman

Hardly any sci-fi, quite a lot of a man trying to understand life.

Normally I’d see the words “Adam Sandler” and switch off, but this was pretty competent despite some negative reviews.

Somewhat late to the party. Breaking Bad.
We've just blasted through them at two an evening.
If you haven't yet done them I can whole heartedly recommend, though The Sopranos is a better series.
Now embarked on Better Call Saul which if anything I'm enjoying even more as it has the two best characters from BB in it and so far no Jesse fukkin Pinkman.

BB is a brilliant show and certainly in the discussion around best of all time (along with Sopranos et al). BCS I would say is just as good if not better in some places, an absolute crime it never won the awards it so rightly deserved.

Doesn't sound like you were a fan of Jesse unfortunately so El Camino (the follow-up film for BB) is probably of little interest to you.

The Turning Point - The Bomb and the Cold War. Fascinating (and scary) stuff on many levels.
I watched the first 2 episodes last night; really good documentary. It's very informative and really resonates in light of current events. It's educational rather than entertaining I guess, but highly recommended.

Started watching Spaceman but was so bored switched it off. Watched 3 Body Problem, again rubbish overall. Maverick, fun but utter nonsense and not even close to how good the first film was.

Started watching Mike, really enjoying it 3 episodes in, having grown up during his era of dominance to see the back story and the sheer mental torture of the man you can understand why he is so unhinged.

Started watching Eight For Silver (it seems to be called The Cursed online) and the opening 30 mins is pretty graphic violence I haven't seen in a movie for some time (the scarecrow was horrific), I was too tired in the evening to keep watching so will come back to this one.

Any love for Dexter into the second episode, have no idea why it's a 18 rating though.

Dexter is really good but became progressively dumbed down season by season.

The first season is very good and based on the book, with some changes. Season 2 also has a strong central premise.

Season 4 is becoming more implausible but has some great acting performances.

Season 5 is Dexter SVU but is decent in parts and stop at the end of that one IMO.

I'd go with that

Agree with the other comments, it's brilliant for most of it but less so as the show goes on. It does feature some pretty graphic and bloody scenes at various points hence the 18 (can't remember the first two eps specifically).

The majority of it is brilliant and worth your time.

I spent the last 20 or so episodes hoping Jesse died a slow death. So El Camino will be a no go.
BCS is indeed every bit as good as BB if not better, the humour gives it the edge.
