Watched Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga

I have seen a few negative critics reviews on this one and think it is another case where audiences, on average, like a movie better than the critics.

It is overly long and doesn't have as many laugh out loud moments as it needs for its 2 hour length. It has heart though. Not only in a warm performance by Rachel McAdams, who is brilliant throughout, but in love for Eurovision itself.

Been mentioned but Anthony Bordain parts unknown news eps just gets better .
yes

Now halfway through season 4 since i mentioned it a few pages back and there have been some cracking episodes so far. I know nothing about the bloke but i like his direct approach and the series and there is a general improvement as the series go on. Something that can pass an afternoon during these times

Such a tragedy. His TV shows are always very watchable.

His book, ‘Kitchen Confidential’, is also fantastic. Memorably commented on the hazards of eating fish on a Monday (even if he later back-tracked on that) and ordering meat well-done.

Daylight solid 90's action flick with Stallone having to rescue people from a collapsed tunnel. Some good action sequences without making him look like a superhero, and still finds time for the human aspect.

Got to the end of DarK on Friday night. Good ending to a good series.

I think I'm going to go back and watch it all again sometime soon and then pass judgement. At the moment I can't help but feel it's three seasons of increasing deliberate confusion and just three episodes of knowing the whole truth and therfore actually being able to follow the story!

Finished Warrior Nun, thought it was pretty good overall, half decent story given the subject matter (supernatural/fantasy) and some good martial arts style action

No reservations was his previous show which is also very good. Well worth finding as it was when he still had his passion for travel and food. It all got a bit crazy though with him never seeing his family due to travel commitments.

Warrior Nun - as a big fan of this genre and of Buffy - i really wanted to like it, but i felt like it was trying too hard and a bit forced - lost interest after 2 eps.

Game Night - it was ok , some good bits, felt like it could have done with a bit more time in the script writers room to flesh out a few more scenes - worth a watch. 7/10

The scene that you'll end up waiting for does not disappoint thumbup

If you like the fight sequences in it generally, check out The Night Comes for Us.

We've been big fans of Sabrina (if we're talking Buffy Reboots), how does it compare?

Watched Eurovision, the missus loved it, that’s all that counts.

The only thing i could mark them down for is at the end they did absolutely everything to avoid placing a union jack on the credits, almost as if it was an in-joke.

Me sensitive? not at all - barstewards.

Same here, and pretty much how I felt. Without adding spoilers, I'd started to notice some things that raised some questions and I'd like to re-watch to see just how many clues there were and how early they started appearing.

Fantastic writing though and glad they spread the reveal out without cramming all into a final episode. One you have to watch in chunks just to be able to follow it.

Five episodes in to season 3 of DarK, not sure I'm enjoying it in all honesty. Everyone is each others son/daughter/father/mother. Everyone is killing their own family members and/or sleeping with each other.

I know this is going to sound a little daft considering the subject matter, but it's all getting a little far fetched.
I've heard from 2 people and apparently the ending is one of the most satisfying to a series ever and that neither of them saw coming. I'm also on episode 6.
I was thinking the same, currently struggling on episode 3. Will carry on watching now.

We stumbled across it early in lockdown, have now done 6 seasons rofl

Its awful but great

Once you have done the 2 seasons that are on Netflix if you have Prime the rest are on there under Hayu, need to sign up for a 30 day free trial and then its £3.99 a month

There is also Below Deck Med and Sailing Yacht hehe

ETA there is an episode 0 at the start of each season, its largely pointless, we skipped them in future seasons
