Apologies if asked before (it's a long thread) but just finished watching Power which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Any similar series on Netflix or Prime I should try?

Ok, bear with me, but you could give Banshee a go.

On first glance, it may not seem similar (it's in Utah so no big city lights) but it's got a similar amount of cheese and doesn't take itself too seriously. Stars Homelander (no I didn't realise either)

If you like the theme of somebody wrestling with success and what needs to be done to keep it, then Boardwalk Empire is fantastic. This is not cheesy, though it is fantastic.

Not sure if they're on Prime/Netflix, but I'm somebody told me they might be on Popcorn Time whistle

There's also the MMA Netflix thing 'Kingdom' that gets a lot of love on here.

Trial By Media - True Crime doco/talking heads style

Seems to focus on a famous media case each episode, Ep1 was interesting about a murder 'caused' by the Jenny Jones Trash TV show

The trailer for Enola Holmes looks like it might be interesting
Watched this with Mrs L yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Long, but that’s fine with watching movies at home - press pause, off to the loo, cup of tea and back into it. Didn’t lose interest and mighty impressed by the lead actress Millie Bobby Brown. 16! One to watch.
It was a bit meh I thought....sort of Robert Downey's Sherlock Holmes mixed with loads of PC feminism.

No, I didn't finish - I struggled painfully/foolishly/manfully about 25 minutes. Utter, utter bilge

I do, however, envy him (indeed anyone who can get paid for stuff like that)

She. She plays "Stiles" looking at IMDB. I don't think it's a big part seeing how I can't find any screengrabs with her in it! hehe

I sat through all of it with an incredulous look on my face.
Don't remember her though.

Song Exploder

4 parts, each dissecting the writing process of a different song.

Excellent and well worth a watch.

Power: Book 2 is currently airing in the states. Be interesting to see if we get it. TBH I don’t know if I’m that into the idea of it. Following Tariq after Ghost has gone sounds terrible.

Netflix Germany. smile

The Most Hated Woman In America. We watched this last night, based on a true story and pretty incredible really. Not sure what to make of it, it was okay and passed the time nicely, just didn't really grab us.

Yes, both series. Silly, doesn't take itself seriously, and a good laugh.
