Calm with Horses

Very gripping underworld crime film set in Ireland.
+1
It’s not exactly a laugh a minute. Turned it off after 20 minutes.
I stuck with it but wish I hadn't. Bleak or what. I do like those early 90s Celica GT Coupes though.
Ala Tyrannosaur? Which is a great film btw, but bleak doesn’t even come close.
Did people think it would be a comedy biggrin

Jumped on the band wagon for Queens Gambit and glad I did, superb series. No working my way through the latest series of Suburra which deserves more credit than it gets. As a Gomorrah fan I feel Suburra is a very close 2nd.

Ha! whilst I was watching it, I did think "Oirish Tyrannosaur." But Tyrannosaur was a far better film, imho.

We watched. "Game Night" last night, harmless, and amusing - and recommend for entertainment.

Cheers! Enjoyed that. Celica sounded great at times
I quite enjoyed the score too. Grabbed a few moody tunes for my chillout Spotify Playlilst.

Show called Kingdom popped up on my Netflix yesterday .

Seems to be about an MMA fighter and the owner of the gym.

Good reviews on IMDB . Anyone seen it ? Worth watching ?

I watched it all although I nearly gave up. It had promise but didn't materialise in the way I expected. It was OK if you're stuck for things to watch but I'd not recommend it to be honest. All of the characters were fairly unlikable and not decent people. I really took a dislike to Lisa to the point that she became the new "Skyler from Breaking Bad" in that regard!

It gets a lot of love so don't take my word for it. There are many who are hailing it as their new favourite show. I just didn't really gel with it personally.

+1 Great excessive fun and very tongue in cheek amusing. A strong recommendation.

Whilst it's nothing like The Boys, it is very similar to The Boys in terms of humour and blood, with a sprinkling of Cobra Kai self deprecating cheese thrown in. See also Preacher.

I think a while back someone posted a link that showed you every Netflix category, that then linked to Netflix to show more films.

I have changed computer and los the link, does anyone still have it, don't fancy searching 20+ pages.
I found this which is similar

The Queen's Gambit really is a masterpiece of TV. Just a shame it finished and liked the 1950/60s look as well, like Mad Men.

Absolutely loved it. What I wouldn't have given for a shovel and a few hours in that sand pit.
Yeah.
Very interesting.

They couldn’t dig anywhere without finding something.
Magnificent this was, and the joy that the findings gave them!
