Having watched and lauded Kingdom - it’s a hugely different story and theme. La Revolution has higher production values and has a much darker undertone.
Vikings was good and a good comparison with Barbarians - just enjoyed the latter more.
Fair enough. There's quite a craze for Middle-Ages drama now! You thought La Revolution had higher production values than Kingdom? I thought Kingdom looked gorgeous.Vikings was good and a good comparison with Barbarians - just enjoyed the latter more.

Finished Suburra, fantastic final episode that would have fitted in perfectly with Gomorrah. Very slick, dark and some unexpected moments.
+1 RichI introduced Mrs C to the series and we’ve started from series 1 now onto series 2. Better a second time...missed so much detail first time round...

Blood of Zeus
Looks interesting, from the spoiler-free review on Den of Geek

Set in the world of Greek mythology (but not a simple re-telling of an existing tale), it looks like it might be something I might enjoy. I used to like Greek mythology when we did it at school.
Another fan of greek mythology from school times. Love hercules the disney version but blood of zues is not that. Looks interesting, from the spoiler-free review on Den of Geek

Was it any good?
Spiderman Into the Spider-Verse is now on Netflix.
This really is one of the better animated films.
As somebody who has zero interest in any of the Marvel films (Dr Strange aside, but then I am a geek when it comes to the Master of the Mystic Arts), this is a really good watch. Really interesting animation and a fresh, fun take on 'spiderman'.
If you're looking for something to watch with the older (maybe 8+ only for storyline rather than content) kids/teens, this is a good watch watch for an adult as well.
A solid 7.5/10 (8.4 on IMDB)
