Operation Finale.

Absolutely brilliant, Netflix made film telling true story of the capture of a nation war criminal in the 60's.

Ben Kingsley plays the lead, very well.
Watched this on your recommendation after searching for something to watch.

Very enjoyable film. Oscar Isaac is good as usual.

It's not as good as the first series but still worth watching.

Has to be in the running for daftest overall concept for a series/film though.
The first series was better structured for sure as it had a more obvious core to it.

It's loosely based on a French graphic novel so the strangeness comes with the territory.

Murder among the Mormons

Just finished the first episode which was really good. Another one of these type of documentary series Netflix are very good at.

Bloodline.

Enjoying it, but 3 episodes in, should I know what’s going on?

There's not too much going on.

It's odd in that it's well made and acted but not really gripping.

I started it a few years ago - one episode - and picked it up again recently. Finished the first series and into the second. Or is it the third? Don't know and might leave it for a few more years!

Watched the first season of Cobra Kai and thought it was average. Not going to bother with any more. Was surprised given it seemed to get good reviews.

Also, watched Tribes of Europa over the last 2 nights and I did enjoy that.

Reminiscing, it’s not what it used to be!

ahhh those were the days.........

i think its premise was good, focusing on the "losing" character - but then the teen's and teen angst love triangles etc and then when a certain very old guy turns up, it lost it for me

I enjoyed it, but the ending wasn't for me.

First 4 episodes were brilliant, but I though staying as a psychological thriller would have been better than all the 'magic'. But equally, I'm sure for others it was right up their street.

On the plus side - it's very unusual in tv/movies for a Villain to 'win' at the end, as 'he' wasn't even an anti-hero, but a total villain. So always an interesting way to end.
I was expecting a (now) very obvious 'Gone Girl' twist, not the supernatural stuff. I felt a bit cheated like it was only one step away from 'it was all a dream'.
Oh no.

Watched episodes one & two last night thought it was setting up a good premise as a psychological thriller. Just read the spoilers above. Not sure i'll carry on with it biggrin

Some great actors and it has a good look about it but by the end I couldn't care less what happened to any of them

We actually liked that the ending wasn't just something like "she was an abusive wife", "Rob was locked in the basement" or "the main character's ex-husband killed Rob" or something like that. Having the supernatural aspect to it made us take sit up and take note that the ending would be something completely different.

One of the greatest bits of TV ever made. I'm sure half the things they did in the shows was just to see if they could get away with it.

Yeah. Really enjoyed it.
Up to E4 last night. As you say it's not too bad. More sex and nudity would be better.

Thanks for that, I'll put it on the backburner along with Ozark then smile

Luckily they didn't make a series of The Dig... biggrin

I love it, it's just joyfully, unapologetically juvenile.
