I liked it, but then it has Anna Kendrick and space ships im easily pleased.
Nothing special, but ticked along nicely
Can’t remember the last time I gave up on a film but gave up on Stowaway half way through - truly dreadful.

Love and Monsters

The giant insects are the most believable element of this film, and they're not particularly believable.

If someone liked Anna Kendrick then I could see how this film could be bearable. I don't, and so it wasn't. Apart from anything else, when are film makers going to realise that makeup is inappropriate in space?

High production values, I don’t think it’s as bad as the irregulars but I’m 5 in and still don’t really get it.
You have my respect biggrin. Does it get any better?
Only seen two but thought it was fine so far. Production pretty good and dialogue and acting okay as well. Could have been a BBC production had I not known is was Netflix. My daughter is a big fan of the books so will go back over the first two episodes with her.

Also here in NZ they have just released Jo Jo’s Bizarre Adventure, which is a classic and well known anime series. You probably need be into anime (or into Japanese) to like it though. Fortunately for me I’m into both.

Noticed that Chappelle's show has finally appeared on Netflix. Highly recommended for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Finally, about time too.
Has some of my fave sketches like the black white supremacist, and Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood stories.

The Racial draft is a classic and the Samuel L Jackson sketches make me laugh

The "Hmm mmm good mf'ing choice mf'er" & "how's it taste mf'er" lines always slay me rofl

Think he does a better Sam L Jackson then the man himself.

Trying to give it 10 minutes.

It seems that Netflix's film productions recently have all been utter crap.

Love and Monsters

Much better than the typical sci-fi/end-of-world Netflix orginals which seem to spring up on a weekly basis.

Oscar-nominated visuals (which are superb for a low-budget film) and it was pleasing to see an end-of-world film where most people are actually still decent human beings. I'd even watch it again.

Ten episodes and sadly only one season but a really entertaining story, well acted and plenty of action too. It’s an 18 and a bit gory in places but well worth they watch!

Looks good. Gives me something to watch tonight. Thanks. Wouldn’t have found it otherwise.

If you’re missing Superstore try Kim’s Convenience - quite addictive and sort of fills the retail comedy gap.

I appreciate this is a Netfilx thread but Series 6 of Superstore is currently being shown on ITV2 every weekday night at 19:30.

We stumbled across “Sinner” 3 series each one a separate case, very enjoyable.
