We stumbled across “Sinner” 3 series each one a separate case, very enjoyable.
Typically they taper off on quality. 1st was the best by far.

Also, take a listen! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IX5_r4euxDQ

If you’re missing Superstore try Kim’s Convenience - quite addictive and sort of fills the retail comedy gap.
I appreciate this is a Netfilx thread but Series 6 of Superstore is currently being shown on ITV2 every weekday night at 19:30.
Sorry I meant if you’ve watched them all - didn’t know S6 was available, hopefully it’s on the hub. Cheers

It is, we're a few episodes in now. We really liked the first 5 series but this one is a little....poor. Let's just say you can tell it was made in 2020.

No problem. It will be on the ITV Hub so you won't need to miss Corrie to watch it smile

Except the 1000 adverts every 5 minutes on itv hub means it'll take you a week to watch an episode.

What do you think of Black Mirror as the trailer for the latest season looks like it may be worth a watch.

Just finished Season 2 of Snowpiercer. It picks up, a lot. Unlike certain series I've watched where they chuck in a "filler" episode here and there, most episodes do significantly advance the narrative so in that respect, it keeps you interested. Season 3 coming, supposedly.

It's fantastic, far more hits than misses with the episodes. Have you watched any of them? The 3 from the latest series were weaker than others, for me, but episodes like USS Callister, San Junipero, Crocodile and Nosedive are definitely worth a watch. Some are absolutely brutal, I'll never forget Shut Up and Dance, for example.

I havent seen any of them yet but the trailer popped up on my home screen today.

Is each one a self contained episode?

Yes pretty much all of them are standalone, self-contained short movies. Different cast, directors etc. I jumped al over the place watching them, some are very bleak so I looked up a couple of the more positive ones to break them up a bit. That said it's not something to binge!

USS Callister is a good one to ease into them.

Ten episodes and sadly only one season but a really entertaining story, well acted and plenty of action too. It’s an 18 and a bit gory in places but well worth they watch!
Looks good. Gives me something to watch tonight. Thanks. Wouldn’t have found it otherwise.
Enjoying this.
The only thing that’s getting to me is Jean’s hair - it’s looks like a wig. When he walks into a scene I just see the puppet from Team America.

Stay here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stay_Here

You've got to watch it.

It's cringeworthy.

Formulaic.

But hilarious.

Helped in no uncertain part by "UK born"
Peter Lorimer, who starts the series with a slightly camp generic American accent, and in later episodes seems to be failing to put on a fake London Accent all a Dick Van Dyke. (But I suspect he's never been to the UK since he was 4.).

If you can tolerate Grand Designs, Homes under the Hammer, or Diy SoS, this will be 10 times worse.

They take a rental property, where the owner seemingly hasnt got a clue, and then bring a team.of 20 to turn it into.a master piece.

And they do obviously turn the property into a work of art.

But they don't stay around long enough to see the $$$s flow in. .

I'm.hoping they do a "Stay here 3 years on after the pandemic"

If you just want to torture yourself this might be annalternative to made in Chelsea

Absolutely my favourite comedy of recent years. There's a lot of stuff in the background which is easy to miss as well as the obvious humour in the dialogue.

It loses it a bit after Donald Glover leaves towards the end but it's still brilliant.

We are hammering through the US Office (again!) at the moment. Will stop at the end of series 7 as it just wasn't the same after that, but the episodes are pretty much hit after hit after hit from series 2 to 6.

Started on with s6 last night I like the fact it's pandemic related

"It will be over in a few weeks"

I remember when I thought that
