America: The Motion Picture. Out on June 30th. Absolutely historically accurate hehe

The Outpost a film about a battle in the Afgan war, did not have high hopes for it but was very pleasantly surprised well worth watching.
That was good, very much like siege of Jadotville

Thanks for the heads up

It's on Amazon Prime though.

Sometimes it's really hard to tell. I watch Netflix on my Fire TV and Prime makes Netflix content almost seamless as it treats Netflix as a Prime channel.

From the same people who made Archer?

Looks like it, looks very good if it’s the same type of humour throughout!

We've just finished UNCLE.

What a brilliant, surreal, funny... and sometimes touching,,, show.

The cast is amazing.

Completely missed it on TV. So glad we stumbled across it.
Half way through this, it's hilarious!

The episode where he had the three women in his flat at the same time was fantastic writing, properly funny.

Very funny series, it's funny though as if you watch S2 straight after S1 it's really noticeable how much older Erroll becomes.

I have a bit of a crush on Daisy Haggard, there is just something about her and the characters, who she generally plays.

Thoughts on Sweet Tooth?

New post apocalyptic tale based on a comic book series - produced by Robert Downey jr.

Looks promising.
like taking candy from a baby,

its not raising the Bar too high

over indulgent

ice cream if its any good.
It’s, sweet. If a little predictable/formulaic. But I feel sour. I don’t like getting caught up in things not knowing there’s a conclusion. And in particular fairytale fantasy. Think True Blood - loved this for the first few series, then went totally OTT and just flopped.
I thought this was a one off series. Wouldn’t have watched if I’d known, especially as no confirmation of S2. It’s cute kids/family stuff.
Not sure if I would get on with this but it’s really good fun. Beautifully made and although it’s very fairy tale based, it isn’t totally schmaltzy.
4 in so far - reviews so far have been positive.

Quite good fun. But I wish they'd made better use of the idea and less use of Richard Curtis' trademark get-the-girl-at-the-last-minute panic.

Really enjoyed ‘yesterday’. But yes, I often feel like the third act is very missable with this kind of thing. A mad rush to tick the rom com boxes. More songs would have been good and less Ed too.

I really enjoyed sweet tooth. But I’m a sucker for any rewilded earth / OLED friendly content. It was all on rails but thought the COVID stuff was quite well done for a kid show.

Love Death and Robots season 2.

There are some seriously talented artists out there who all need professional help but it is excellent.

For a complete change of pace;

Black Holes: Edge of all we know.

Don't watch if you're not into hard science documentaries.

If you are, this an excellent insight into the EHT programme.

On becoming a god in central Florida.

Kirsten Dunst in a black comedy about multi level marketing in working class Florida.
Watched the first two and am enjoying it a lot.
Kirsten Dunst is very appealing which is something I'd never noticed before.
Just wanted to say thanks for the recommendation. I'm about half way through this now and I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far. Dunst is excellent and, as you say, strangely appealing!

I finished it off yesterday.
It's a strange one to pigeon hole, the two top level bosses were hateful and strange, most of the cast were pitiable but a decent level of very dark comedy kept the pace up.
I think I might be in love with Kirsten Dunst as that character.
