Outer Range.

A REALLY slow burner and if I didn’t have interest in the kronos as a being /myth /legend I wouldn’t have continued but hang in there.

I like Brolin as an actor and Tom whatshisface appears again (from ozark, banshee etc). He is excellent although his complexion doesn’t exactly cry out Wyoming native. Maybe he is preparing for another role and needs to be thin, tanned and well groomed.

The whole plot is t revealed until the penultimate episode…..
That’s on Amazon

I really enjoyed it though.

We are two episodes into The Pentaverate and it's a bit..... weird. Not 100% sure if we are going to continue with it, but it's sort of.... intriguing?
It's complete garbage.

Anyhoo, I'm 3 in so far. biggrin
I'm 2 episodes in and loving it. Like most Mike Myers products it's a little obvious with the gags being signposted way ahead of the reveal, but that's part of it's charm - the anticipation of the punchline. The pool game in ep.2 was a prime exampe of that smile

Anyway, I'm loving the pisstake of Canada (and the US) - It's aboot time!

Myers' humour is an acquired taste. Personally I like the fact that it's just funny for the sake of funny and not packed with pathos and subtext.

I need to watch it all again as I'm sure there's loads I missed first time.

Watched the orgy scene last night whilst having my tea, most of which got spat out through laughing!

And apparently, Big Dick's Half Way Inn is an actual place!

Missed this first time round…has some poignancy with current events.

Plot is a fictional amalgam of various alleged real life plots and stories.
Bridget Moynahan Is easy on the eye
One of my favourite films.
More so as this stuff actually happens.

Lincoln Lawyer.
New series, out today I think.

Very good so far, 2 episodes in.
Not my usual type of show, crime drama. But good.
Neve Campbell looks great in it.

Late to thr party but just watched Untouchable. A truly beautiful film! Manages to pull off funny and serious at the same time, very well done.

Just watched Lord of War, great stuff. Reminded me of Goodfellas (which is no bad thing), the narration and the helicopter following him.

Not getting the love for Lord of War and I'm a Nic Cage fan. Watched it many moons ago and have never felt the urge to rewatch, formulaic, derivative, paint by numbers action film. Enjoyable but nothing special.

Are you sure you watched the right film? I wouldn't describe Lord of War as an action film.

1408
Stephen King horror
John Cusack is a paranormal novelist who goes around haunted hotels which he then bases his books on.
One day he receives a mysterious postcard warning him of a particular hotel in New York and not to stay in room 1408.
Intrigued he goes off to stay at the room despite multiple warnings from hotel manager Samuel L Jackson.

Pretty decent, 6.5/10

Yes, a poor description on my part, apologies. My sentiment remains, it did little for me. Shoukd have called it a crime/drama I guess

Been watching Clark based on the true story of Clark Olofsson the Swedish bank robber, plenty of Swedish humour and really enjoying it.

Useless fact, the fiddle player who's beaten with his violin is Tobias Forge, AKA Papa from Ghost and Mikael Åkerfeldt from the band Opeth did the sound track.

Lincoln Lawyer (series)

Enjoyed the books and the film but the series is just standard glossy, acting by numbers.

The storyline might carry it through but it has the look and feel of a daytime soap.

I nearly did last night, but I tend to check Rotten Tomatoes before watching a film, and anything below about 60% makes me think twice.
30% made it a nope.

So I went for Cargo (88%) instead.

fk me, it was boring. Gave up after about 45 minutes.
