Seven seconds was good we thought, 10 episodes, set in Jersey, white cop knocks over and kills black kid.

Chaos Walking

Enjoyed Tom Holland in this role. In interesting concept of all thought being audible - silly sci-fi story but worth a brain out couple of hours.

The Crow

One of my favourite films. Outstanding performance all round - dark for sure but a great great film.

Lincoln Lawyer (series)

Enjoyed the books and the film but the series is just standard glossy, acting by numbers.

The storyline might carry it through but it has the look and feel of a daytime soap.
I like it, yes it not a patch on the film, but an easy way to watch series, good sunday viewing.
Up to ep 9

Hallers house...... Looks like harry bosches one...

View.... Interior etc...

Enjoying it so far.
Thought it was excellent apart from the weird accent of the main character, like he was Hispanic and trying to speak with an American accent

That's because the actor is Hispanic (Mexican) and trying to speak with an American accent.

Lucky the character is meant to be half Mexican too.

I really enjoyed Lincoln Lawyer, great all the way through.
Easy watching and good cast.
I hope they do a 2nd series and it's not another of Netflix "just do 1 series and quit".

Swallows and Amazon's, the 2017 remake.
Ruined a charming story about middle class kids mucking about in boats by sticking a stupid spy story into it. 4 Tittys out of 10 pirates

The Silencing

Decent film, chap from GOT in it. Good story and action.
Worth a watch.

Trying to get into Stranger Things but the plot seems infantile so far, the kids with their "Scooby Doo" sloothing skills are annoying and cast overall are unconvincing.

Just starting Episode 6 of series 1 so nobody could accuse me of giving up early.

I've just started the new series of Borgen. Must admit I thought it was "over", I believe this is the first new series for quite a number of years. Enjoyed it beforehand so looking forward to it.

Plus one, I also enjoyed this. Good job Jamie Lannister got his hand back, he needed them both

Persevered to the end of series 1, but it just didn't hook me.

Me too. I'm generally not into sci-fi/fantasy type stuff though.

I do like sci-fi but I think this is too much fantasy so far but I'm persevering.

I came on here and slated "Wrong Side of the Tracks (crime drama) and whilst I still stand by my original comments, it turned out to be worthwhile persevering to the end in my opinion.

It's a bit like sleuthing but in crap American TV productions smile

In fairness, I think the sound track is pretty good. Could almost be Tangerine Dream on occasion.

Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 season 2

I'm enjoying it but my goodness every episode ends abruptly.

Also I've just finished Ep5 and so far everyone seems to have totally forgotten about Togusa, and that was the cliffhanger of Season 1

Edit: How funny. Ep6 has just reintroduced him
