Watched a couple of episodes of obsession last night - super weird and made no logical sense at all.

Won't be watching any more

Similar... it jumped straight into it with no build up or character development... all slightly odd, notwithstanding the actual oddness of the storyline.

It's only 4 x 30 minute episodes so we'll watch the last two. Slightly intrigued as to how it'll go and little time investment needed thankfully!

Finished Beef last night.

Enjoyable
Just started it last night, first episode off to a strong start.
What's wrong with me!!! Yet another series so many are raving about and I struggled to get to the end of the first episode.

I'm going to give this another go.

I get the feeling that there is some level of history that hasn't been shown, it is the only way it makes any sense, because otherwise if you go straight from their first meeting to where they get to it defies logic.

It's almost as if they literally took the storyboard and put that in production.

Why on earth didn't he just say he met her at the event?! He hadn't done anything at that point. Well, apart from feed her an olive biggrin. Literally instant obsession rofl

You're not alone. I've tried and failed to complete even the first episode on two occasions now. It's just so meh.

I'm kinda inbetween on it. I'm part way through the last episode. Gave it a go based on everyone raving about it, enjoyed the first couple of episodes but feel it may have been better as a film rather than a 10 part series. The concept is fun but it is has gone on a bit too long and got a bit silly for me.

Page Eight
Have we had this yet?
I don't know how I missed this first time first time round.
Appeared on my Netflix this week.. pleasant enough little spy tale rather well done.
Part of a trilogy I'll now have to seek out.
Has elements of Bourne & Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy feel about...
But also a slightly TV movie gloss.. but I liked it.
I watched this recently and enjoyed it a great deal. It’s definitely worth seeking out the other two parts of the trilogy — the second part was my favourite. You'll find both ‘Turks and Caicos’ and ‘Salting The Battlefield’ on ITV X. They definitely need to be watched in strict sequence.
Really enjoyed this. Slow is good.
Bit too slow for me. Also, in everything I've seen him in, Bill Nighe plays Bill Nighe, no range there at all that I can see.
I watched this last week, I recall quite liking it at the time. But have already completely forgotten it.

Enjoyed the first episode or 3, then felt it went downhill and dragged on, bit of a slog to get through last few episodes.

3 part documentary on the Boston Marathon bombings.

Very good. Not sure that the police covered themselves in glory despite the celebrations at the end though.

Oh and Into the Deep: The Submarine Murder Case

Documentary

Bloke builds his own submarine and tries to build a rocket. Attracts volunteers from all over the world to help but is not all that he seems.

Highly recommended and WTF jaw dropping in places

Yeah I did two eps last night. Can’t put my finger on why because on the face of it there’s nothing to like, but it gets under your skin

Although nothing at all like Wayne, there’s a familiarity in the way it instantly establishes really bold characters.

I could see this being a guilty pleasure. As you say, well worth a watch.

If you only mange the first episode, definitely watch the first 5 mins of ep 2

Nobody - decent little action film if you haven't seen it elsewhere, nothing revolutionary but concise and good fun

Recommended on here before. Excellent documentary, well worth watching.

We watched the three part Waco documentary last night, brilliant.

Surely this could only happen in America! How they could amass such an arsenal of weapons with 1.6 million rounds of ammunition stashed away is mind-boggling. Probably had it delivered by Amazon!

Very good, just when you think it had reached an acceptably entertaining plateau....
