Has anyone seen Baby Reindeer yet?

Based on a true story and British.

I’m only 1 episode in so far but intrigued to find out what’s making it an 18 rating
Yes I thought it was very good. What a Nutter!

I’m 2 episodes in and although it’s sometimes a difficult watch I will watch the final episodes .. It’s certainly thought provoking in that at times it’s making fun of what is a serious subject matter.

Imagine the sexes were reversed…it would have put a very different perspective on things.

Jimmy Carr ……
Like him on 8 out of 10 cats, but this was terrible and became quite weird towards the end.

Does he do that weird pumpkin-head demented laugh at his own jokes?

I haven't seen it yet but Netflix showed me a 30 second preview - it didn't look like Jimmy Carr - likely a combination of weight loss and ageing, but quite a difference to last time I saw him.

Definitely a gem there. Lots to think about in that.

Including the last scene where they hint abused becoming abuser as he enters and sits in the bar and gets offered a free drink, just like she did.

No he's had loads of cosmetic surgery done, he's very open about it. I think he looks good (as in he doesn't have a face like plastic that doesn't move) but he's definitely worlds away from what he used to look like.

Ah right. I didn't think he looked 'bad', just very different from last time I saw him!

We are 3 in and it’s bloody creepy.

The next one has a warning about sexual violence so that will be why

Yep, I've finished E3. Quite enjoying it, it's both pretty scary but a little funny at times, too. Quite well done so far I think.
Just finished this, I enjoyed it, ending a little predictable but really good.
This is truly a gripping series, bloody good it is , Creepy, sad, amusing at times & thoroughly scary.

Episode 4 really is a tough watch but its seems pivotal to the story . Be warned .

Jessica Gunning is fabulously creepy & scary as Martha .

Highly recommended if one is not easily offended.

Currently on ep 2, or maybe 3. Looking forward to it getting grittier, I'm weird like that.

currently enjoying The Wages of Fear - seems to be a French re-make of the 1953 movie. Not good, not bad

Binged the lot…enjoyable through gritted teeth

My wife said I’m glad you’re safe from weirdos like that, you’ve no empathy you’d never have given her a drink

Scoop.
A risky subject, Prince Andrew, but the acting was just superb, well worth watching.
Rufus Sewell should get an Oscar for that!

Finally got round to El Camino despite being a big Breaking Bad fan.

Jesse Plemons (Todd) getting the artistic camera angles and mood lighting because he got really fat overnight.

Seems to have largely dropped that.

I think he suffers from over-exposure and a desensitisation to his content (which was very much the same)

There was only one or two jokes I guffawed at because of their outrageousness.

Was quite funny that he admitted not making jokes about Muhammed because of what they might do to him, I actually think he was being 100% honest. "What are Catholics going to do? Forgive me?" Thought that was quite funny.

Agreed.

We've all seen, or at the very least heard about, that interview, so I have to admit I was wondering how they'd make a worthwhile film about 'getting an interview'. Was pleasantly surprised though - I found it quite gripping on the whole, and as you say, great acting all round.

Things I don't know the answer to though: Did they actually use the exterior of Buck Palace for filming arrival/departure scenes etc, or is it trickery? If they did film there - why on earth would they (the Crown) facilitate the making of a film about one of their more embarrassing moments?

Very interesting interview with him on the Triggernometry podcast; thoughtful, articulate, considered - significantly better than watching the Netflix show.

Probably late to the party but 3 Body Problem is really good. I wasn't really expecting much but it's well put together and I get to a point I think I understand or know what's coming and it switches up again. Not too much techno babble.
As brutal as GoT, none of the main Characters seem safe anymore and it's quite graphic.
