There are thousands across just about every "genre" you care to think of.

That has pretty much been the point of songs since time immemorial.

Life and death and love (also religion I'm guessing) are far more important than politics and will have formed the basis of most songs over millenia.

Protest songs form a major part of world music, so to claim that you hate it when singers promote political agendas it rules out a large area of music, unless what Nezquick is objecting to is only when a particular group air their grievances.

I'm not objecting to anyone singing about anything. If they're an artist and they have the talent to sing at the Brits, good for them. I just don't like artists trying to score political points and I personally don't like this kind of music. It has nothing to do with what "particular group" the artist may or may not fall in to.

And there are hundreds of thousands more, perhaps millions in some genres, of every other type of song. As I said. Incidentally you lost any credibilty when you added Dylan in the 'rock' category. Internet horseplay aside, that's just an insult to rock music.

I really like BMTH (saw them in Orlando, it was excellent), but yes, their music has changed in the last couple of years, but still good. The track they did for Death Stranding is good and "In the Dark", that has Forrest Whittaker in the video, is good. They're still good, just not as heavy as they used to be. The same thing happened to Evanescence, 30 Seconds to Mars and the last couple of Linkin Park albums.

Plus, apparently BMTH have tamed some their stuff because Ollie fked his voice so much with their early stuff.

That said, they did do the concert I would have most wanted to go, their Albert Hall gig with the massive orchestra, the video's of that on youtube are excellent.

Clearly white people wouldn't have gone to prison.......

I quite enjoyed the show overall - easy watching. Dave's anti-white people performance was st, and Stormzy wasn't much better - although as a "person" (i.e. what you see when he's on chat shows etc.) I quite like him.
