There are 2 schools of thought with Thatcher. I admire anyone who is strong minded enough to see through their ideas. However, when they come at such a social cost and those people show absolutely no compassion or interest in suffering caused, or a way out of it for those that cannot help themselves, that tends to cancel out any admiration I have. Apparently not for Mr Elton though. Hence my reference to Hitler in that instance.
