Before Susan Calman appeared Rhona Cameron was the default Scottish lesbian comic.

Last seen on that jungle thing with dick and dom, maybe she's happy to be a hausfrau and dog walker
She does the voiceover on Find It, Fix It, Flog It.

It's a guilty pleasure. getmecoat

Jimmy Nail? Reasonably famous in the early to mid 90's (ish), not heard of him in nearly 20 years. I've no idea why his name just came to me, I didn't watch or listen to anything he did!
I refer you to my post of August 25th.
Missed that, Thank you!

Obviously he didn't disappear, but Mark Speight sadly killed himself following the death of his Girlfriend.

I still reckon that there were other issues going on at the same time, that all mounted up to the point where he could not take it anymore.

Loved watching him as a kid. Very funny and talented bloke.

Probably not a good idea for someone that seems to suffer from memory loss or just likes to repeat post the same thing over & over for some weird reason. Just shy of 2 months since he last brought it up in July.

Not disappeared, but sadly died.

Mark Speight committed suicide after the whole emotional toll of his partners death became too much.
Still at least he seems to have moved on from his Jeremy Kyle obsession.

For some unexplained reason Kristiane Backer from MTV Europe came to mind

Apparently she converted to Islam whilst dating Imran Khan and then he did the dirty on her for Jemima Goldsmith. She now resides in London as an art dealer, among other things.

Good shout - 80 this year, so as you say probably understandable. Nothing since 2008 according to wikipedia.

His wife died of Leukaemia very suddenly and he left all presenting work to look after his kid. He didn't 'disappear' due to doing something bad.

Do the c'lebs themselves edit their IMDB profiles (or agents etc), I always assumed the IMDB people did that sort of thing, putting the credits etc in.
That said, I've noted in the past I've been watching something and gone to IMDB to find out where I've seen an actor before, only to find that for the thing I'm watching they aren't credited in IMDB for it, even if it's fairly major role in whatever I'm watching.

I appeared in a docu once, and I have an IMDB profile that just appeared out of the blue.
