Just finished watching another one of Steven Seagal's utterly, utterly st films and it got me wondering... had there ever been a worse headline action 'star'?

Jason Statham and JCVD lots of movies made but the amount of decent movies they have made can be counted on one hand.

You haven’t seen Jay Leno in Collision Course have you?

‘ An arrogant Detroit cop (Jay Leno) must work with his efficient Japanese counterpart (Pat Morita) to corner an evil ganglord.’

My mate has a theory that Statham is never the best part of any film he's in. Hard to argue.

I can’t stand Dwayne in anything.

I grew up on Arnold and Stallone. Everyone else is just terrible.

I mean after Cobra or The Running Man, what else is there ?

I may be with OP on Steven Seagal.

But then I remember Chuck Norris, master of the 'straight to video' genre.

Without Seagal, we wouldn’t have had Erika Eleniak emerging from a cake. Think on.

I read the title of this thread and without even seeing any posts, I immediately thought of Seagal. I'd like to also nominate Vin Diesel.

Er, there were 3 (or 2?) Crank films were there not? Plus 3 Transporter movies. And who could forget Handsome Rob in the Italian Job??

So how many fingers exactly are on your hand??

To be fair, I actually enjoyed the Transporter films. And the first Crank was so bonkers I enjoyed that too. Plus he was good in Lock Stock and Snatch. And his cameo in Collateral made that film for me (okay, I’m pushing it).

But Revolver was awful. Truly awful.

I can forgive that though, and I will remain a Stath fan smile

Yep, that was going to be my shout. Laughably slow and wooden in the recent F&F films. In one of them he fights Statham, and he makes Statham look like Bruce Lee.

Seagal is unbeatable.
Vin Diesel also a good shout.

I’d like to nominate Dave Bautista and John Cena

Etc

Special mention to Liam neeson for playing the same character in pretty much everything he’s done since taken

I don't actually mind Dave, his Drax was one of the best characters in Marvel, although his Tong-Po in Kickboxer whatever part it was, wasn't all that great.

Certainly the more 'senior' Seagal films are absolutely atrocious. He doesn't even try to kick anymore and he's overweight.

Defo agree with all the Seagal nominations.
