You make a very good point that deserves some recognition. I'd say her acting is 2D but somehow, just somehow, in that film it suits the 2D comic book storyline.

I actually quite like Statham in a you know what you're getting kinda way.

Hulk Hogan, now there's someone who shouldn't have crossed over into films (along with John Cena)
I'll agree with HH (Thunder in Paradise is still floating around in my memory like a bad smell, execrable film), Cena on the other hand was quite enjoyable in Blockers (I too enjoy bad films!)
I used to think thunder in paradise was totally boss when I was younger. I've just looked it up now on YouTube. Holy moly, it's absolutely awful. Proper shoe string stuff.

Brian Bosworth 80's NFL star was pretty poor, Daniel Craig doesn't impress me much in anything except Knives Out recently, and Kevin Costner has had some very poor 'action' films to his credit.
Logan Lucky....I liked Craig in that.

I think Jasom Statham is the most typecast actor.
You could look at it like that. The other way of looking at it is that he built himself a nice little niche basically from scratch and is having a sustained successful career off the back of it.

Can't really knock it as he obviously put a lot of effort in, the films are generally watchable, and no one is coming out calling him an ahole.

Typecast is only a problem if it stops you getting work.
Big fan of Statham. He used to be a pretty good 10m platform diver as well IIRC. Got selected for common wealths but missed out on Olympic selection. He's done alright!!!

Stalham, has made some enjoyable films, Transporter and F&F are entertaining

Dolph, well he was big in the 80s and Red Scorpion had him go all arnie and sly with a big gun

JcVd bloodsport, Awol, kick boxer, for there time all good films (for their time)

Seagal......what a total , st actor st person, even his early films he looked like a cock on screen.

Frankly I am struggling to think of any redeeming traits of Seagal...he was married to Kelly le brock, wired science and women in red.

Oh just remembered he always interfered with production and writing in his films....so I recall on film his character MASON STORM (said in a deep American voice)....total also as one reviewer said runs like a bh too

So, just to be clear, do you like Seagal or not? laugh
Thanks. You just made my coffee spurt through my nostrils and destroy my keyboard!!

Probably not the worst but Sean Bean must be worth a mention.
Doesn't he die in most films he's in, so there is that.
I heard he is getting a bit fed up with that and has turned down roles where he dies

A few of you have nominated Stallone, but nobody has mentioned his roll ( not a spelling mistake ) with Barbara Streisand, both very young.
I give you Sylvester Soft-cock. biglaugh

Not that I've watched or even googled it, but I predict the film will:

- have Seagal in it for about 10 minutes, all of which he spends sitting down
- an incredibly obvious and much slimmer double for the fight scenes
- minimal effort to hide the fact it was shot in Eastern Europe
- a scene where we get told how much of a badass Seagal's character is

Some interesting information on IMDB. Possibly not all accurate.

Just watched the trailer and to be fair he is actually standing in some scenes, although never once moves from the same spot.

I don't know about that but I saw him on Jonathan Ross and he's either the most boring person on the planet or just a very subtle troll. It was like watching paint dry.

Steven Seagal comes across as a psychopath if you read some of the stories about him.

Not sure if it's true or not, but the story about him being choked out and soiling himself after challenging a stuntman is possibly my favourite.
Yes, its true, he's very wierd and not a nice person.

I have that info direct from someone that knew him reasonably well. One of my late mother's good friends that she had known from back in the 1950's when they worked together was the close cousin of Kelly Le Brock's mother (who my Mum also knew back in the 50's when she was a model)
Marion was close to Kelly and when her and Segal would come to London when they were married, they would always meet up with Marion and spend time with her......she didn't have a good word to say about Segal at all.
