"Sully" was on BBC last night, a good film, I enjoyed it.
After the first five minutes I switched it off, just could not get into it.

The rather bonkers Mandy is on Film4 in 15 minutes.
Just watched about 15 mins of it, not knowing anything about it.

Seems st so turned the channel.
You would be much better off watching the 1950's film 'Mandy' about the deaf mute girl very well played by child actress Mandy Miller...

FnF 7 is on now ,was going to give it a minus score as it's just a CGI cartoon with Diesel and his mates appearing occasionally .

But Just witnessed a girl fight with a blonde and Michelle Rodriguez ,so I'll give it 1 .

Blues Brothers 2000

Not a patch on the original, but has it's moments. Lots of repeated stuff, Aretha Franklin, James Brown etc. John Goodman a fair replacement for John Belushi, Monumental car chases and crashes as you might expect.

It sort of starts backwards with the dramatic bits in the middle and towards the end whereas you expect the crash at the beginning and it can feel you’ve missed 30 minutes. Stick with it as it’s a decent film well played by Hanks.

I started off being a bit disappointed that it wasn't going in sequence, but stuck with it and enjoyed it.

Sully - Enjoyed this, I liked the nonlinear nature.

The Accountant - Autistic Sniper/assassin/badass/accountant takes a safe job that isn't.

The Sleepover(Netflix) - Normal suburban family have a break in and the parents are kidnapped whilst the kids have a sleepover. Mum isn't quite what she sees to to be and the kids go on an adventure to save them. A really good entertaining family movie. The usual characters the hunky stranger, incompetent cop, silly dad, the teenage daughter wanting some space, the quirky friend and weird kid. You know they are all going to 'grow' through the show and each have a moment that reveals their strengths and teamwork etc. Had enough adult stuff in it for us and my kids (10yo boy, 9yo girl) really enjoyed it as well. Recommended.

Molly's Game was on BBC2 last night.

It's the true story of Olympic Skier / Poker Game facilitator Molly Bloom. Really enjoyed it and worth catching on iPlayer if you haven't seen it before.

Venom on Netflix.....

An interactive experience as I was spitting venom back at the television.

Terrible film..... Butchered the Marvel original
Tom Hardy looked embarrassed to be in it. This could have been Deadpool good, but nothing worked - least of all the interaction between Hardy and Venom.
And there’s a sequel on its way. The joy....

Good film, saw it a while ago and gave it another viewing. Jessica was a great choice to play Molly.

Alien Parasite Sky Cinema

Low budget Aussie flick. Something lands outside town and locals get infected with nasty alien bug.

Pretty good and far better than the title suggests.

JoJo Rabbit

Not what I expected, although I'm not really sure what I expected. Rather enjoyed it. Interesting mix of comedy and some very dark bits.

You were not sure what you expected, and yet it wasn't what you expected?

Well, that's my brain in meltdown for a few minutes until I reboot. hehe

Concussion (2015) Blu-ray

Series of retired football (US) player deaths piques Pennsylvania coroner's interest.

I watch a little NFL, but wasn't aware of the background to this one - found it quite interesting; based "on true events" apparently. Well cast & shot.

The Forecaster

The story of Martin Armstrong, once a US based trillion dollar financial adviser, used the number pi to predict economic turning points with precision. When some big New York bankers asked him to join the club to help them to take over Russia. Documentary, with some big holes, but the actions of US justice system beggars belief. Worth it if you are in to this kind of thing, but leaves a lot of questions unanswered.
