Trick Or Treat. Sky Movies.

Explanation please?
It's a package on a satellite television service that allows you to watch movies, and presumably that is one of them. silly

Glory, old "ish" film but not one I'd seen, fabulous, very powerful and some great performances. (On Netflix)

Have we had "Pieces of a Woman" yet ?

Vanessa Kirby (You'll recognise her) in an award winning performance. (Venice Film Festival)

Not easy to watch but brilliant performances from everyone involved.

Slightly faded away towards the end I have to admit, but very good overall.

Robocop - 2014 Newer version.

Totally lacking the Paul Verhoeven touch that made the original so brutal and brilliant, and many other elements too, but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it for what is was.

I've only ever seen three Michael Keaton films (this one, Pacific Heights and The Founder) and I have to say I'm a huge fan.

A solid 7 "your move creep"s out of 10.

Isle Of Dogs C4.

Wes Anderson Stop-motion animation.

Charming, fun, very enjoyable, with a lot of nods to other films and cultural references in there.

9 Sports out of 10 Spots

If you like Keaton then watch Birdman he's very good in it.

We only managed about 20 minutes of Birdman.

Tedious.

If you like Keaton watch Batman (1989), he's good in that too. Plus: Jack Nicholson, Kim Basinger

True smile

Keaton isn't one of my favourite actors, by a long way, and I don't like superhero bks, but my wife does, and she got bored of it before I did.

Don’t forget Jackie brown.

Watched the original robocop recently. It’s still a pretty good watch considering how old it is. I can remember how shocking the violence was when younger with the hand getting blown off and him shooting the guy in the baz through the women’s skirt. Now it’s kind of meh (for lack of a better word) - which tells us something.

Enjoyed Mojave last night. Second or third viewing but it’s my type of film. Markie mark is the only part that let it down.

Also enjoyed Ronin last night. Some scenes are a bit suspect now compared to modern stuff like when they ambush the cars and Jean Reno amazingly dodges bullets an runs off whilst everyone at the cafe gets gunned down laugh still a brilliant watch and sends you looking at M5 prices every time

S8's as well (couldn't afford one then, haven't got the Ball's for ones that I can afford now)

My huge gripe with Ronin is why the fk did nobody on the entire cast or crew tell Robert DeNiro how to pronouce Hereford?

It drives me fking mad. If I'd been in the SAS (I was, of course, but don't like to talk about it), and somebody asked me what colour the boathouse is at Hearford, I'd look fking gormless just like Sean Bean.

I watched it all but it was a slog and I felt bemused by the end.

Bettlejuice is a tour de force by him and a lot of fun (There was supposed to be a sequel in the making, but I don't know where that stands now).

Pacific Heights is an excellent film, though.

I was surprised it's not better known. I didn't know anything about it and thought it was excellent, very moving and taught me something I didn't know about the civil war.
