I am amazed you don't know Emma Stone, she is incredibly mainstream and has been in some great films. Gorgeous woman too IMHO.
It just so happens that I haven't encountered her. I'm neither proud of my ignorance (I'm amazed that some people are) nor remorseful. I merely accept that it so happens that we have not coincided. (I confess that I don't watch a lot of films these days and am now a bit parochial unfortunately)

She is great, oscar winner and multiple nominee. (I confess that I don't watch a lot of films these days and am now a bit parochial unfortunately)
Check her film list.

Wind River
One of the best films I've seen. Extremely well done, intense, thought provoking and moving.
Same writer as Hell or High Water and Sicario, if you liked those then absolutely give this a go.
Agreed, the trilogy often seems to come up on here and appears universially liked (with the exceptional oddball view against, but such is PH...) One of the best films I've seen. Extremely well done, intense, thought provoking and moving.

You haven't seen Superbad and Zombieland????(I confess that I don't watch a lot of films these days and am now a bit parochial unfortunately)
Watched 'Cape Fear' for the first time since I saw it on release in 1991.
I didn't enjoy it in '91 - I was probably too young - but thought it was awesome this time around.
De Niro is, of course, superb. In fact, IMO the acting is pretty much top line throughout, and the whole thing appears to be very well put together.
Glad I gave it another go.

With Mark Wharberg and the guy who plays spiderman. Starts with an overload of massively unconvincing CGI. I nearly turned it off right there and then. The rest is Indiana Jones crossed with a modern setting. Dire stuff unless you're pissed out of your head. 4/10 as another no-brainer type film

Rewatched a few “classics” (old movies) with the kids. All on streaming (either Netflix, Amazon or Disney +)
Uncle Buck - nowhere near as funny as I remember. Basically 5 or 6 sketches / set pieces with a loose narrative. Kids mostly bored…
6/10
Beetlejuice - first watch in a decade or so, but still very much hits the spot. I forgot Keaton drops the f bomb though, which is why it got the 15 rating I suppose.
9/10
Sleepy hollow - with my eldest only. Has aged pretty well. Jonny Depp looks sooooo young. Enjoyable enough.
7/10

Blonde on Netflix
Self indulgent art house hot garbage. First up, the performance from Anna D'armes is excellent. She's a good actress and probably one of the only actors attractive enough to play the iconic Monroe. She does a fine job of being Marilyn Monroe. That's the good stuff out the way.
If you're expecting a biopic, this isn't it. I's some perv's fictional piece of work transported to a movie. It's controversial as there are plenty of grim scenes but the whole movie is just her with her baps out for the most part, being sad and in a state of madness. How they managed to stretch this out to nearly 3 hours is beyond me. Sadly, this movie will be remembered by teenage boys sending screen shots of the actress in a state of undress a lot more than it will for being a good movie as, well it isn't. Did I mention self indulgent?
3 out of 10 just for the lead performance. Not even the mesmerising Anna D'armes can save this twaddle.

Watched Get Out again and it is just brilliant the second time round. The different meaning expressions and comments have coupled with the intense foreshadowing is really impressive on a re-watch. 9/10
Nope - Another Peele movie which was an interesting concept as well. Not as good as GO though. 7/10
Bullet Train - Seen other comments but I enjoyed it, had a bit of everything. Strange to know that Tangerine is Kick Ass! 7/10

Your title makes it sound like a film about someone failing to rent out their aeroplane.
