Some of the scenes were quite funny in an excruciating manner, however overall it was just a satirical hit job on the Trump administration.

Remember, the border guards may have put Mexicans in cages during the Trump term, but the cages were installed and first used during the Obahma-Biden administration.

But let's leave that bit out and have a good dig at Trump instead.

Ad infinitum for the whole film.

4 out of 10

I thought it was good, but not as great as the original.

Quite liked the plot twist at the end, virus is from Kazakhstan smile The rest of the storyline seemed a bit token at best, too much arguing with his daughter.

My favourite scene was actually the barber one, cutting a tiny bit off at a time and showing the customer hehe Simple and stupid, classic.

Do some research, FFS, it's just this kind of lazy ignorance that is so damaging.

This is like saying:

Didn't think he did the accent as well this time, it was too half hearted. Too much speaking in Kazach as well needing subtitles.

Some great laugh out loud moments. The Pence rally stunt took some balls, those people have zero sense of humour. biggrin

Honestly very average indeed.
Far too much scripted acting between Borat and his “daughter”, the lockdown scene is extended way too long.
Nowhere near enough gotcha moments, that were the true Borat staple fare.

The ball scene was pretty good.
You need these scenes to tie it altogether to make it a cohesive film.

I’m disappointed he didn’t crash a BLM protest hehe

Not a bad film, although the constant politics became a bit boring towards the end.

i enjoyed it, and worked well with the daughter.

They tried to get Rudy but in fairness to him he did nothing wrong. Suits amazon well. Love the Trump bashing stuff very funny.

My thoughts to, it just felt too scripted and forced, the original one was fantastic, it flowed and seemed almost completely improvised, this one was clearly more scripted and less natural in its flow and improvisation.

Nowhere near as good as the first, I watched the first one a few days ago for the 2nd or third time, I'd watch it again, this one I won't watch again.

No one is disputing that. But Obama’s administration didn’t systematically separate kids from their parents like Trumps has with their zero tolerance stance.

Hence the nazis/gas reference above.

Anyway, take it to the Trump thread please.

As RK says, no wish to derail here, as there is a thread for all things trump. However, it is truly disappointing to see such an attempt made to mislead. Below is the Snopes link from which the screenshot is taken, telling more of the story, for anyone interested in the truth:

I can understand this point of view - I think the problem was one they pointed out early on.

Borat is too well known. So, they had to lean far more on controllable elements and use SBC a lot less. Hence the real 'gotchas' being via the daughter.

My initial post said this,

Remember, the border guards may have put Mexicans in cages during the Trump term, but the cages were installed and first used during the Obahma-Biden administration

You then told me do some research ffs

So I did, this research confirmed exactly what I had said?

You might want to get into some form of context over zero tolerance policy, however no context was suggested or implied in my original statement.

I simply stated a fact, you are entitled to your own opinions but you're not entitled to your own facts.

That's it really.

It appears an obvious attempt to mislead. Hopefully, anyone interested will read the whole story.
