Is that the same guy who ruined a Focus RS or ST, then did the same with a Golf R? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cERSSI22Y3k&t=...

You haven’t had any thing wrapped yet so, no, soz, you don’t count.
This just reminded me.. I was watching Officially Gassed yesterday, he purchased a newer RS5. He firstly tuned it, he then he broke it, fixed it, got an after market exhaust for it, then got some awful looking body kit for it and then finally wrapped it. He is following the You-tuber playbook and seems to have loads of followers and views. People still seem to love this stuff...You haven’t had any thing wrapped yet so, no, soz, you don’t count.

I've also asked and said they're a bit odd. I'm 39, 40 next month, but could pass for a 70 year old..
Ha, I've got a lot more grey hairs during the lockdowns but not quite passing for 70 yet WarrenB said:

I found JWW's tour of the Aston paint shop fascinating, I had a tour of the Aston factory on a pre university engineering course way back in 2002, incredible to see the difference today.
Only just watched, great video very insightful tour. I did laugh though at the paint alchemists, they were like a couple finishing each others sentences, very knowledgeable and skilful nonetheless.fridaypassion said:
Just idly flicking through some of the Youtubers channel overviews some observations:
SOL is not doing too bad. Despite having the most savage comments section looking at his last dozen or so videos he's managing
JWW is pretty much smashing it
Tyrells classic workshop has a very good sub to view ratio
STG is slowly building up some solid view counts well deserved too I think
However...he's just there quietly beavering away making consistently solid content and absolutely smashing it ....Arise Sir Harry Metcalfe getting mega views on almost all uploads looks pretty similar to Shmee's view counts. Great stuff.
I've said this before but the MrJWW channel is less successful than it looks:SOL is not doing too bad. Despite having the most savage comments section looking at his last dozen or so videos he's managing

1.4 million views over the past 30 days.
Jayemm has 2 million
Misha has 2 million
Both with a small fraction of JWWs subscribers.
Harry’s Garage has 2.6 million views with 2/3 the subscribers.
You can surmise it as people don't really want to watch Advertorials.

The comments section sums it up nicely.

And Salvage Rebuilds UK has 2.1m views, but that may be down to them buying a Vivaro! 1.4 million views over the past 30 days.

They are doing extremely well and seem to have hit an interesting niche. The channel hasn’t even been going for two years.

In fairness, Mr JWW has put out seven videos in Feb, I did about 28 - so per video he is doing much better than me, and his back catalogue probably ticks over at a higher rate.
True but they did have the Artura and GT3 reveal to get views. Harry only had 5 vids in Feb. Good on the both of you. AJB1971 said:

I like Salvage Rebuilds. Its honest and open viewing plus a good selection of cars. His new white teeth need a little getting used too, and I get the sense he would be lost without Chris. :-)They are doing extremely well and seem to have hit an interesting niche. I like Saving Salvage, this guy loves VW and Audis and has a host of RS models.
Serious about Salvage. Another interesting channel. The chap's voice is a little monotone but he is a trier and he certainly tries his best considering his budget and car selection. He has really low subscribers compared to the others but does exactly the same. i suppose some channels are either liked or not.
Offically Gassed. I cant watch this anymore. LLF, OG, Monkey London, are becoming similar and poor quality. I'm tired of just watching footage of looking out a windscreen as a car is being thrashed. Pi55 poor.
Bit late to the party, but yes, congratulations to Jayemm on the Lambo, it seems like a bit of a bargain, so hopefully will do you well.
Are the early ones where the cats can break up, and their proximity to the head combined with the exhaust valve timing means the material can be sucked back into the cylinders and rip up the walls of the bore? Has it had them removed/replaced?
