What would happen if a minor internet 'personality' had someone else register a car based travel events company, but then rather than being a director, maybe just invoiced them for use of the brand and marketing services?
Would that personality have any liability if it all goes tits up?

I think the other thing is that impresses me about JayEmm is that he is more than happy to descend into the Forum Pit of us, The Great Unwashed', and interact and take feedback - a lot of people in his position (perhaps wisely) tend to avoid that....
Cough Shmee cough cough He left mainly because some people are assholes who can't let things lie and simply must be right.

When it all predictably goes wrong due to covid stuff, I predict the refunds won't come, he could then make out he's mad about it, been taken advantage of like everyone else, lost loads of money, etc? Would that personality have any liability if it all goes tits up?

Common directors with Cold Candy I see. Would that personality have any liability if it all goes tits up?
Poor old Phil at morethancars has literally done his nuts on his pista & SV.
Based on previous videos he paid 330k for Tom’s SV and put 80k in, now listed with dean for 265k - pretty much wiping all his equity there,
His pista he paid 370k for and put 150k in. Now up at 269k. So another 100k plus loss.
JBR aren’t underwriting and while he’s got 500k plus already on the tab underwriters are obviously not keen to extend so he’s had to cancel his tributo and can’t get his new Mclaren underwritten.
Obviously don’t know his personal circumstances but expecting to have 1.5 million quid of car finance was probably something he needed to have in place before throwing order forms around like confetti
What makes zero sense to me is the fact he’s done the equivalent of a solid F12 paid for cash in losses and he’s still trying to sign up for more.

To be fair to DMO the combined cost of his vehicle lease payments are less than the rent of a pocket sized retail shop on the Kings Road
So selling bags of pick n mix at 40 quid a pop to a bunch of pot heads with the permanent munchies from a drop shipped white label supplier with zero overheads provably means he has better margins than Haribo.

The finale of Sorted went up on Rob Ferretti's channel yesterday. A good series, although seemed to be hampered by delays which appear to be down to editing and production.

Looks like there's going to be a Season 2, and it does look like they've taken the criticism on board too so hopefully it'll actually have a consistent release schedule!

His SV is an amazing spec and has the rare gloss carbon option but unfortunately for Phil he overpaid but that said I think his SV will sell for around 240'ish. He could have got more but biggest issue with his SV is the miles are too high and it's been driven hard which he documented on YT. You don't daily drive SV's and SVJ's unless you're Rana and you don't give a F about resale.

If he sells them all out that’s over £400000 in ticket sales dependent entirely on lockdown being lifted with no delay.
He’s either very brave (or a idiot)
'By paying a deposit on this ticket you accept that the organiser has the right to change the date or cancel the event with no notice...Covid blah blah....your place in the event is only guaranteed with he final payment.....deposits and instalments are non-refundable' are the types of things that people won't have read when they put their money down for these events. He’s either very brave (or a idiot)

It's been a good series but, if anything, shows none of the competing cars were actually 'sorted' they even said that in the heats the overall winner posted a laptime below what a stock version of that car would do....Season Two definitely needs to have tests to weed out unreliable cars and encourage milder states of tune that might actually end up with a final of working vehicles.

They won’t have read that type of stuff as the site is devoid of any terms or conditions. And I’d massively undercalculated the volume of sales as id missed that most of the prices were just first instalments
With all the payments it’s well over £800000 in sales

I even stuck a comment on his IG asking where are the T&Cs and what happens in the event of a covid cancellation and my comment was deleted. This will end well

Yep, complete coincidence that the Performante + Aventador SV turn up at the same time. And I’d massively undercalculated the volume of sales as id missed that most of the prices were just first instalments
