Is Schmee desperate to be famous? independent from his parents, but with his portion of the famous Burton family fortune? Why does he dress like he's 56 when his audience are kids that think "owning" supercars is an aspirational dream? Why does he have that weird persona, schemeeeee, cheeeerererereererers. His videos are so very weird. Good for him though if the kids like them, but his audience will grow up very soon. Then what happens? influence a new generation of kids with the supercar ownership rich kid dream? Offload the cars and go back to his electronics business selling / sell phone peripherals on eBay? Cheeereeeeeerrereres.
For the love of Christ - there is no C in Shmee. SHMEE SHMEE SHMEE. ThanksWarrenB said:
The TGE beef with JWW seemed to come from James making out the RS6 was his, when it was apparently his dads.
JWW should address the daddy's cars thing, as he did with the 25K and Litchfield / Chris Harris / Schmee gate. Get back on Stereo with Yianni kid and explain. How many of his cars were allegedly his dads? It would go a long way towards building credibility.Happy 38 said:

How do we know he's not a trust fund kiddy like all the others?
He said he's not. Schmee and JWW however allegedly have rich parents.Did TGE break up with Archie? What happened? I didn't catch the podcast.
Was his first car a £350 Fiesta payed for off his paper round? Convinced he's from money just like the others.
I think that TGE has a collectors’ mentality, whether that applies to cars, watches, or trainers. He derives as much pleasure from owning them as he does from actually using them, maybe even more so.
It’s an expensive habit, which probably explains his focus on Tudor watches - his money can go further with that brand than with some others. The same could be true of his recent interest in older Porsches, excluding the Carrera GT.
I view his channel as more of a lifestyle/personality-driven one than a motoring one. That probably explains why he doesn’t get invites to certain events, which seems to cause him some angst. He buys the cars because he wants to and uses them as a way to promote his and other people's business interests.

I’m no branding expert but given how big his channel/brand is within our small little pond, it’s quite damning how few people seem to be able to recall/understand how to actually spell it. It is a bad choice of brand in that respect if people cannot pronounce or spell it properly.(We all know the history of the name...no one needs to copy and paste his ‘story’ yet again...)

I agree it's a crap brand but the dude has got millions of subs and a lottery winners garage so what do I know?!

I'm pretty sure that a decent proportion of the posters that misspell Shmee are doing so to troll, because it does seem to reliably generate a reaction.
Maybe. If people overheard you talking about the brand name, I’d bet most unaware of the channel would search for it by the phonetic spelling.

Don’t put yourself down, having the appearance of being ‘a success’ doesn’t mean you are one.Maybe you could start a competing channel and name it something like ‘Koontz Garage’ - plenty of leather-bound copies of books by Dean Koontz to throw people off the scent of mockery

Or a collection themed on German cars and artists - Kuntz garage?Maybe you could start a competing channel and name it something like ‘Koontz Garage’ - plenty of leather-bound copies of books by Dean Koontz to throw people off the scent of mockery

As there’s so much discussion on “influencers” finances it seems appropriate to remind PHs of one of the original influencer witch hunts.
SO THATS HOW CHRIS HARRIS AFFORDS HIS CARS
Interesting reading that thread. Same old arguments still happening today although I'd hope some posters understand how interest rates work now! Easy to be clever in hindsight but amusing that the actual car in question has doubled or trebled in value since and (though I don't really know that market) I think I'm right in saying there was never a point where those 4.0's were worth less than list. At worst it would be free motoring, at best a fantastic investment. SO THATS HOW CHRIS HARRIS AFFORDS HIS CARS

I'm sure it was an old fiat/citroen as I've seen him post it before saying it was £500 and him & his brother went halves on it.
Fair play if it was. He definitely wasn't gifted an Aston for his 18th by his film director uncle Tim Burton, or whatever other crap people on here come up with about 'schmee' or 'timmy time' etc.
