Just noticed Emma Walsh's YouTube channel has been rebranded as 'BOXD TV', apparently it's now 'A fiercely independent motorsport media brand, powered by the next generation of motorsport fans and creators.'
It now links to an empty Twitter account, what looks like a childs Instagram account and a random Chinese Facebook page....
I wonder if Emma is still involved, she must be surely? maybe she sold the channel, not sure why there would be any benefit to buying a existing channel, I stopped watching ages ago to be fair.It now links to an empty Twitter account, what looks like a childs Instagram account and a random Chinese Facebook page....

All seems odd, especially considering this was the Facebook account it linked to...

She has likely been hacked by what looks to be the dumbest Chinese software engineer on the internet.
She has set up a new 'personal' channel though, called 'Miss Emma Walsh'. That won't get confusing, considering her main channel is also called 'Miss Emma Walsh' again. honda_exige said:
This was surprising, that the R888Rs did so badly! Are the Nankang AR1s significantly better? The issue is that these new fancy tyres don't come in Lotus 16/17inch sizes.
I don't know yet, I've not driven on the AR1s. It's on the list of things to test this year, but time is running out sadly!jon- said:

It's a great video and this whole subject is so complex I don't envy you. There is a chance that the R888Rs suit light cars better, as they're soft sidewalls iirc? Also I've found when you really push on them you get this curious ripping sensation, not under or oversteer just a weird impression that you're ripping the surface of the tyres, but they look fine when you come back in the pits and pressures are fine.

I reckon you are right about weight of the car; I have R888R on my VX220 and they behave impeccably. I wonder what the wear rate is like on those Nankangs - I'm due a change. Also I've found when you really push on them you get this curious ripping sensation, not under or oversteer just a weird impression that you're ripping the surface of the tyres, but they look fine when you come back in the pits and pressures are fine.

I'll see myself out.
You know what, I think that would make a few people chuckleI'll see myself out.
I see Honda_Exige's videos a lot these days
Not a lot to say, K20 (a?) sucking air in with some nice driving. Cant beat that really, not a vlogger though

I am fairly sure this is a car I sat mulling over when it popped up for sale, then somebody bought it ...

Website is a basic Wordpress throw-up in 5 mins job with no background information on the founders, backers or what it’s all about. https://boxdtv.wordpress.com/
Twitter account was registered circa 2010, with 4K plus tweets and is set to private - so looks to me like the account has been bought.
The only related boxd.tv is a Indian mobile app for tv listings.
No idea why MEW is involved in this kind of setup - it’s not exactly MTV.
My only assumption is she sold her YouTube account - it would make zero sense to rebrand an existing account like that only to setup a new one from scratch.
Notice SOL got 19k views on his RS6 video after a week - with nearly 900k subs that is piss poor. By comparison TGE turned in 113k views in the same time frame on 220k subs.
Given SOL does nothing but YouTube vs Tom having a full time job I can’t decide if Paul is just lazy or incompetent letting his business go to complete st.
Expecting his final YT video to be ‘wrapping my A1 burger van’

Yup its a JDM K20A from a DC5 Integra as opposed to the K20A2 in a UK Civic Type R, small differences between the two. I bought it in 2019 from a chap in Ireland, it was previously for sale in 2016 with Jon Seal with Exige front and Elise rear but now has a full Exige body so might well be the same car. Couple of the previous owners on PH too.
Video from onboard the nutter spec S1 Honda Exige in front of me, enjoy the Wastegate music!
