YT'bers will do anything for views, they have no shame and uploading a video about your recently deceased dad is in bad taste. I bet in a few days he'll upload a "normal" video like nothing happen.

Condolences to him and his family but personal family matters should be dealt in private not YT.

Sometimes I come in this thread and have to take a step back after reading the torrent of negativity and hatred and ask myself If I'm feeding off it like a dementor off Harry Potter. No wonder Pistonheads stuffed this thread away in the TV section where no one really visits. Out the public eye so to speak

In other news, DMO has 1000 HP'd his transit

Had to laugh at the Fabians Doorbell bit.

Going by this and your posting history on this thread you're either another young dreamer with a fake garage or someone who's managed to be highly successful/wealthy with very limited maturity and emotional intelligence.

I know which one my money is on.

Good innit?

He's done a really good job of explaining how the car feels and the dynamics of why - weight, layout, power etc.

This is what I think anyway, sort of like that GerCollector guy Tim is friends with, he never shows his face and always covers his plates up.
It's very usual for Germans to cover their plates up, they care about privacy a lot - hence the Google StreetView coverage in Germany is abysmal and a decade old.

But anyway, the Gercollector guy is a young son of a very rich estate guy in the Munich area.

I think, perhaps surprisingly, he actually is wealthy and the 500 times (thousand) times he's dropped into conversation in here that he owns a Lamborghini are likely true.

Definitely a bellend though.

But he's got a lambo don't you know.

Jay-Dubz dream car, the Turbo S, didn't last long as it's been chopped in for the 720S.

That is the least interesting project car I could think of besides a crappy Rover and other pistonheads gold.

Let me guess, Ti exhaust, 1016 Industries body kit, and a flame tune

That's a bit harsh. As others said, who knows what's going on in his head. As his father was a well known figure in the automotive world, people have been discuss this whether Archie liked it or not. Also having mentioned previously that his father is not very well, his subscribers would probably be asking for updates if he went quiet.

That said, this made me cringe a bit. Probably automated mind you.

I dont subscribe to Archie Hamilton, but this video came up on my suggested feed. I was watching it and felt quite emotional for him, it can't be nice to lose your father.

And then.... an advert popped up halfway through for private registrations plates and I turned it off! If I was him, I wouldnt have put any monetising on this video (caveat - I dont know if they can pick and choose!). Kind of spoilt what he was trying to get across, although I am sure it will be good for views and revenue.

YouTube can now add adverts to any video whether you turn monetisation on or not, I don’t know if that includes mid roll though.

I went back and tried Ed China’s channel again as the Range Rover Classic project interests me. Although his videos seem a little disjointed to me they have certainly improved lately. I then noticed his subscriber numbers - over 800,000! That’s certainly shot up recently.

Had the turbo brochure since he was a young boy, spent every day dreaming about one day buying the car (the one he could have bought years ago).....wheres that video talking about lease costs he promised after the full Charles/Pearl and Dean advert?

Noticed that myself...I assumed a knock on affect from Wheeler Dealers.
