YT'bers will do anything for views, they have no shame and uploading a video about your recently deceased dad is in bad taste. I bet in a few days he'll upload a "normal" video like nothing happen.
Condolences to him and his family but personal family matters should be dealt in private not YT.

Sometimes I come in this thread and have to take a step back after reading the torrent of negativity and hatred and ask myself If I'm feeding off it like a dementor off Harry Potter. No wonder Pistonheads stuffed this thread away in the TV section where no one really visits. Out the public eye so to speak

This is what I think anyway, sort of like that GerCollector guy Tim is friends with, he never shows his face and always covers his plates up.
It's very usual for Germans to cover their plates up, they care about privacy a lot - hence the Google StreetView coverage in Germany is abysmal and a decade old. But anyway, the Gercollector guy is a young son of a very rich estate guy in the Munich area.

And then.... an advert popped up halfway through for private registrations plates and I turned it off! If I was him, I wouldnt have put any monetising on this video (caveat - I dont know if they can pick and choose!). Kind of spoilt what he was trying to get across, although I am sure it will be good for views and revenue.

I dont subscribe to Archie Hamilton, but this video came up on my suggested feed. I was watching it and felt quite emotional for him, it can't be nice to lose your father.

YouTube can now add adverts to any video whether you turn monetisation on or not, I don’t know if that includes mid roll though. Jay-Dubz dream car, the Turbo S, didn't last long as it's been chopped in for the 720S.
Had the turbo brochure since he was a young boy, spent every day dreaming about one day buying the car (the one he could have bought years ago).....wheres that video talking about lease costs he promised after the full Charles/Pearl and Dean advert?sandman77 said:
I went back and tried Ed China’s channel again as the Range Rover Classic project interests me. Although his videos seem a little disjointed to me they have certainly improved lately. I then noticed his subscriber numbers - over 800,000! That’s certainly shot up recently.
Noticed that myself...I assumed a knock on affect from Wheeler Dealers.Edited by Phil Dicky on Saturday 28th August 07:44
