The suitcase will contain a new wing suit, enhanced with Wakanda tech. Bucky probably asked them to give it a ‘Captain America’ look, to help push Sam into accept the role.
This is what I thought initially, but after all the training with the shield I think he will end up being Captain America. It would follow on seamlessly from the ending of the films, and I don’t think they’d risk doing anything that would alienate or confuse people who watch the films and don’t have Disney+.I think Cap needs to be a super soldier though, hence my thoughts on the case contents.

At least we have Loki coming up in a few months, it's the one I've been looking forward to the most.

I have no issue if Sam takes on the Cap role but he needs the serum otherwise he would get beaten by pretty much any villain. I can't see him doing that. Unless he gets some tech help like a wing suit exo-skeleton or something.
In the first Captain America film it was obvious they made Steve Rodgers way stronger than his comic book counterpart. As I understood it, the serum turned him into the peak of what is possible for a human, but it didn’t make him ‘superhuman’. In the MCU it’s a proper superpower. John Walker’s attitude was Captain America has to be the biggest dog in every fight, an analogy for the American military.
I would be happy to see Sam as an ultra fit special forces guy with an indestructible vibranium shield and flying suit, and claiming the Captain America title. It’s then up to the writers to put him into fights where he is challenged, but triumphs through skill and strength of character.
Struggled to get into this and it hasn't gripped me anything like Wandavision, but I thoroughly enjoyed the last couple of episodes. I was really worried how they would handle John Walker but as a character he has really come into his own.
I also thought they handled the sensitive race stuff brilliantly in the last episode, never felt like it was forced and I appreciated the change of pace in those moments. Great series, the MCU have a pretty incredible track record!

Compared to the incredible first two seasons of The Mandalorian, both these Marvel series have misfired. Wanda vision was smug, pretentious and dull at the same time. The ending another cgi whizz bang fest featuring second rate dull characters.
Falcon and Winter Soldier got bogged down and slow too many times despite likeable enough actors. They all seem a little C list which to be fair, they all are. The template for John Walker as set by the source material would have been more interesting.
I also noted last week they referred to Steve Rogers S being ‘gone’. How so? Why have they been told?
Funny how Star Wars has died cinematically yet Mandolorian was so strong with the opposite for the MCU. Maybe it’s by design.

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the Mandalorian however the writers of WandVision and Falcon and The Winter Soldier have been trying to do a lot more with the characters and story than the Mandalorian's videogame immitation of start at point A, go to point B, have a fight, return to point A insert cute Yoda doing something cute, repeat next episode, this is the way.
Yes these MCU shows have been a bit hit and miss but I'm enjoying the fact they are at least trying to do something different to the normal MCU movie stuff.

Absolutely. Star Wars very much had to go back to basics to try and recover, Mandalorian absolutely did that and did it well but it's not sustainable long term and certainly wouldn't be for the MCU. As soon as Star Wars has re-established itself well enough to push the boundaries a bit you can be sure they will do.Yes these MCU shows have been a bit hit and miss but I'm enjoying the fact they are at least they are trying to do something different to the normal MCU movie stuff.
The MCU still has the luxury of being wildly successful but that has also come with an unprecedented release schedule of movies and content, so they have to be careful not to burn out with what is a fairly generic concept. I honestly can't believe anyone out there would feel that they should play it safe (as per Mando) given it's only 5 minutes until the next thing is along if they don't like it. Thankfully most people appear to think that Wandavision was a very welcome shot in the arm for the MCU, so long may it continue.
If the Disney+ shows make anyone in any way uncomfortable I'd say they are doing their job.
When new MCU films are released I take it they won't be released on D+ at the same time (as they'll want the cinema box office take etc), but will they drop on D+ quicker than new films come to Sky cinema for example, or do we think the timescales will be the same, but just on D+ and never released to Sky Cinema?

Black Widow is going to be a premium access title on Disney+ AND a theatrical release, Disney are running with that model whilst things are still up in the air. Once things have settled down they will return to theatrical windows, but Disney have hinted that they are looking to reduce those.Assuming the deals with the likes of Sky and Netflix have completely expired, they will just go to Disney+ after the theatrical run and after the window has closed, they've not confirmed how long the window will be (they need to negotiate those with the cinema chains) or if they will have a period of premium access before going 'free'.
The likes of Sky and Netflix are really going to get squeezed when it comes to studio content as they will all be putting stuff exclusively on their own platforms. That's why Netflix is on a huge drive to create its own content (at huge cost), it's hard to see what options Sky have.
