Wasn’t it supposed to be on last Sunday?

We had Midsummer Murders instead.

No, the date foŕ airing the 2nd episode has not been published. I don't think they wanted it to clash with Line of Duty.

Just watched this. Usual poor over acting from John Simm playng the only character he can

I read the book years ago but never noticed the plot holes. If the crash had not happened then the wife would have killed her new husband as planned after the wedding.
So why did she have his partner as her lover. No need if the above plan works out. He is an unnecessary complication.
She only got his share of the company money by blackmailing him after he removed the breathing tube.
But if the crash had never happened, he wouldn't have done this so would not have been blackmailed. So after killing her new husband on honeymoon she would also have had a lover on the scene. If the police found this out it may have raised questions about her husbands accidental death. So her lover was an unnecessary complication if all goes to the original plan. He was only useful if she needed a fall guy, which luckily she did. What are the chances eh...

Overall disappointed, will stick to the books I think. Over 400 odd pages the plot holes don't stand out so much.

Yeah, that was confusing. Should have just said it was S02E01.

I think it's a bit like most good books turned into TV programmes, I enjoyed it but I probably enjoyed the book more. Hopefully not as long a wait to the next episode - I completely forgot that they hadn't got around to showing S1 E2, and was expecting to recognise something from it.

Sky or someone totally fudged this up.
We watched the original episode ages ago (the property developer and stag party one).
Then we stuck on Series One Episode Two and it just seemed to start without much of an introduction but this is the way of these programmes sometimes so we went with it. It seemed a bit tricky to work out what was going on but got through it and it seemed ok.
Last night we stuck on Series Two Episode One, only after watching it for 5 mins realised this was actually the one prior to the one we'd watched the night before mad

Yep, I did the same thing. Recorded it - stalled as it said S01E02, so watched it on itv hub, and then went back and realised that it was the right one... I could have skipped all the adverts.

Re: The business man accused of murdering his wife episode.
Left us feeling totally confused with all the interlinked stories going on, think they tried to fit too much into this one.

Guys thanks for the heads up.

Massive fan of the books (although the recent ones are not quite as good), I shall check this out tomorrow

The caravan scene was ridiculous.
Also they went to see the woman in the wheelchair, when they came out of the house there was a step and no ramp.
I take it she never leaves the house wink

Picked up on that straight away (The house). Didn't realise there was a thread running. Such a lazy attention to detail. If you're going to choose a disabled actor at least put the effort in.

Caravan finish rolleyes Such a ridiculous mess.

What was the point of Pewe? Turns up to wind up Grace and then dismissed out of the story at the end with no real conclusion. Was his caravan silliness meant to be too stressful for him?

Watched this episode last night. Could not agree more about the caravan scene. rofl

I think it probably seemed to make sense in the script, but should have gone straight to the cutting room floor. It seems they want a bit of action towards the end of each episode, but Grace is not Keystone Cops.
