Sulaco/Nostromo occasionally come up in pub quizzes, pleasing me no end.
When the names of the 2 dropships come up, you know you are in a pro-level pub quiz!

I read they are UD-4 "Cheyennes", but is this referenced in Aliens? Feel I would have remembered.

The one that takes everyone down is "Bug Stomper", and the one Bishop remotes down at the end is "Smart Ass".
Bug Stomper is in the back of shot in the scene where all the marines are being briefed, and you can see the ww2-style "nose-art", and I think the name too!

As well as the forthcoming Alien TV series, we have a new film on the way too - with Ridley Scott just producing this time

It's usually "what was the name of the ship..." They probably do mention Conrad in the question but I didn't realise there was a connection.
