I just finished watching all 8 episodes, great TV. It's the locals that make it, all of them, but special mentions obviously to Kaleb and Gerald! biggrin

It's rubbish!

I've not watched it, my wife told me.

She's not seen it either.

I might need a more reliable program critic.

The Telegraph love it, the Guardian hate it, seems like the perfect endorsement to me, very much looking forward to watching later.

The comments below the Guardian article make it for me. They make the average Daily Mail commentator look like a model citizen.

Watched the first two episodes last night, myself and Mrs Abz thoroughly enjoyed it, and she isn’t a great fan of his work. It really is good, beautifully shot, and actually is very informative on some of the nuts and bolts of doing farming. Caleb and Gerald are wonderful, and are highly representative of lots of people that live and work in the country.

This series has been almost here for what seems like about 35 years but so glad it's finally here. I've not watched it yet (maybe I should post a review?), but as a farmer I'm going to take my time with it, the wait has been interminable. Good to hear it's going down well with the general public, it's getting a lot of love in the farming community too. Apart from the Gruniad, duh. I mean really, what is the point of that rag? Do they ever get anything right?

Watched the first. Two and I thought they were wonderful, his emotional reaction in episode two was touching.

It's a shame it took amazon to make this series as I think if it was on a more mainstream channel it would be a good insite into farming for the general public.

Watched them all now

On the whole very enjoyable, especially when Caleb and Gerald are on screen, lol

The later episodes at times felt like it was going the way of his usual buffoonery in front of the camera, but it stayed the right side of it as not to ruin it and it was really well done.

A solid 8 out if 10.

I’ve watched the first 2 episodes, like it so far! He must have spent a fortune, or wasted a fortune!

I was surprised he seemed so upset about his 3 sheep but was that got the camera?

Ok, NOW I'm excited. Thanks.

I'm a farmer so I'm right up for this.
You may know the answer to this then, why did he not plough his fields?

I've been looking forward to this as I like Clarkson, I think me and him share a few things in common. Britishness, love of cars, engines, machines, history, Worlds wars, old planes, lack of patience, an underlying sense of humour.
I'm also leaving car related stuff behind to buy a smallholding. So whilst a lot of his stuff is just arsing around it does send a serious message out too that farming is bloody hard work and often pointless - at least as far as making money is concerned. That is often reflected by other farming programs too, I haven't watched Harrys farm yet though, don't even know where to find it, i'm assuming YT so it may not get watched.

I watched the first two Clarksons last night and it didn't disappoint, you can immediately tell when I have a genuine interest in something on TV as I put my laptop down and give it 100%.
That aside I can't add anymore than anyone else already has, just looking forward to some more now.

I am a Clarkson fan, so presumed I would enjoy this.

So thought I would just watch one, see how I got on.

It's absolutely bloody fantastic. I haven't enjoyed anything new for ages! Ended up watching all of the available episodes back to back.

I think Kaleb is going to end up an internet sensation, he is brilliant.
When he was telling him how much he had earned I was sat there like its going to be about £100, proper pissed myself laughing when it was £144 profit after all that work and heart ache.
Brilliant show imo. Definitely want to go visit his farm shop at some point.

As a born and bread Chadlington resident,
I have a high interest in this program.
I see and talk to Gerald every day, and yes I can understand what he is saying lol

The program is far better than what I was expecting so a thumbs up from me.
Kaleb is a top lad as well, There are plenty more characters in the village, most can be found in the tite inn.

Gerald seems great, always smiling and laughing. I reckon I can understand around 50% of what he’s saying.
