7 grand a day taking for any small shop is pretty impressive I would have thought, bearing in mind he is his own supplier in the main.
I'm not so sure about that. He didn't have any cows for example and yet I suspect that "cow juice" is one of his big sellers. He does have cows now, but I think they're beef rather than dairy.

He carries a fair bit of other people's stock.

It must be more that 10% surely.

The episode where he was charged 28 quid for a ploughmans was brilliant!

Do you want a receipt?

Yes, as no one would believe me otherwise. biggrin

I believe it was actually, no wonder it gave him the idea.

It did make me laugh.

If half the stock if brought in, with 30% mark up, it's about £800 profit on that per day.

Seems the farm shop has been targeted by vandals, only a matter of time I guess with his status.

Hopefully with his considerable assets and fan base they will be able to locate the cocksockets responsible.

If true it seems some just resent success.

Albeit I am sure it has caused some disruption to a previously relatively quiet area.

As you haven't posted any pics or decried any damage, difficult to comment.

Thank you. All sounds a bit odd.

Clarkson is filthy rich, he can pay to fix any minor vandalism all year around.

Personally I don't think vandalism is acceptable based on your ability to pay for repairs.

Quite staggering!

ETA: it does appear to be the utterly moronic work of another eco-mentalist group to me (to coin his phrase).

So because someone is rich there is a level of vandalism they should be expected to deal with?
Is there a lower threshold for this, maybe higher tax band level?
Heard it all now.

Sorry for confusion.

I meant it's not clear what the point of the vandalism was, as the impact was so low.

If anything all it has done is given Clarkson sympathy and more publicity.

It's a fail.

Looks like the work of the XR lot, though who knows it could be set up for the programme?

It got them quite a bit of publicity. So maybe not a fail.
