Have you watched it?

It’s all fake screaming for the camera.

If they were actually having a good time I’d be fine with it
Yep, watched it and enjoyed it. How do you know it's fake?
If I was being chucked around the GP circuit by Misha in a car like that I'd probably be making some noise too.
It baffles me how miserable you'd have to be, to watch a group of lads enjoying themselves and find it annoying.

I like Alex and his channel, but in the last year they've done the same thing at least half a dozen times; go on the ring, 5-up with Misha driving whilst they whoop and holler. It was funny the first time, now every time they say "we're off to the ring" you know exactly how it's going to go.

I guess it must get the views. I watched his latest vid up to the point the got to the ring then moved to something else.

For me, it’s the fact you can see how much Misha hates it, it just makes it awkward

Misha never looks like he's having fun lol. Maybe because he's concentrating but I doubt he would do it repeatedly if he hated it.
Maybe I'm wrong, I've met the AutoAlex guys a few times and they do dick around a bit, so watching them shouting in a car doesn't bother me.
Similarly confusing when people complain about Mat Armstrong having a laugh with his dad.

Someone mentioned Alex looks like one of the guys off the Undatables TV show which has just sent me down a rabbit hole.

They're not wrong.

Laughed far to much at this as I spotted that comment as well.

I just cant get over the fact they are pretty irresponsible taking sh*tboxes to the ring and then getting Mischa to drive them. He isnt the king of the ring I wish they would stop saying that.

I recently found some old videos of me and a few mates from when we used to take our Land Rovers off roading at Pay and Play days. We were just as loud, shouty and laughing as much as AA and crew. In the moment when you're having a great time I don't think it ever crosses your mind to sit upright in silence because someone else might think it's annoying, it just shows that you're having a great time with your best mates.

I think for a lot of people AutoAlex (and associated channels!) remind them of the good times they used to have.

That's my take on it anyway!

Agreed, I used to take my mates around Curborough in my ropey MX5 and 200SX and we were all just as loud.
It tends to be what happens when people have fun - see rollercoasters for example.

The formula must work for him but I avoid any of his ring videos as I know what will be in store.

Real or not with the screaming, it's all getting a bit repetitive for me. I'm sure they've got bigger plans that take longer so this is sort of filler content until then. The full video of them all doing the road trip down to the Nurburgring with Ethan & jack, and TDC will probably be better to be fair as well. This was probably something extra they were able to get in.

Considering Jack in the launch video said they will be avoiding trips to the ring or Scotland, odd to say the least that the first video is a trip to the ring.

I can see people getting bored really quickly if you end up with three videos across the channels covering the same trip.

It's probably just an excuse to do something with the full team before each channel goes off to find it's own feet.

They did say in a recent podcast they're wanting each channel to be independent, but will still have the occasional crossover and one or two big collaborations a year.

I was at the Ring this week. I was taken around, in the wet, with a group of friends of a similar age to Alex, by an incredibly skilled driver in a very fast car. We all had a great time, there were points where we laughed and gasped in disbelief. At no point did anyone scream uncontrollably. I'll never understand why some people who watch youtube videos seem so intent on defending and explaining away the obvious overacting and fake drama.

So far Edwin and Will have bought a broken car, fixed it up on the cheap, fitted a load of sponsors parts, and have done a roadtrip to the Ring. That doesn't strike me as some kind of content masterplan. If it works for them and pays them enough to keep doing it, then fair play. But it doesn't seem like the fanfare is going to boil down into any great diversity of content so far.

Agreed. I'm waiting in hope that the channels really have their own identity as promised.. so far it's not proving the case.

If "All the Gear' with Ethan and Jack turns out as promised, I think it could be the star of the show. Proper road trips, not sheds to the ring.

I am just enjoying all the car related content while I can. It was only a few year ago when the most we could hope for was 12 episodes of Top Gear per year. Between the big YouTubers we are getting almost that amount per week.
I don’t suspect it will last long so enjoy it while you can.

Yup I wonder if it will end up being rebranded into Taylor’s channel at some point this year? My wife & and I watched the video last night and she really enjoyed it.
