I didn't know that Top Dead Centre (Edwin and Will) and All The Gear (Jack and Ethan) were funded/part owned by Alex, albeit with far more freedom and ownership for the channel teams than they had in the CT days. I thought it was CT just going down the toilet so the guys independently left. Makes sense that they'd share resources/hang around together as they were mates for years, but didn't know there's a much closer business arrangement.
I thought CarThrottle was really good after Alex left (he's not my cup of tea) with Jack, Ethan and Edwin. Hopefully they all do well. I can see a space for all, AA can do most of the dicking around with cars content, TDC the "serious" rebuilds/technical stuff, ATG a bit more travelogue/alternative content. Think the latter will have a bit more of a struggle, given that the old audience may not be as natural a fit. It's a bit further away from the good bits of CT than we know and love. But I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with it.

Fair play to him for doing it but I cannot see the view count staying high, people will soon pick and chose.
