Agreed, plus the fact that he always wraps the cars rather than getting them painted, so under the wrap they are a multitude of colours.

By the time he has finished with the cars he has put so much money into them that he could have bought a pristine version for less. But all the time he is raffling them and the ticket sales are much more than the amount of money he spent I assume he will continue.

I also hate the way he utterly ruined that pristine Lamborghini and added those hideous liberty walk body kits to the Maserati and Mustang.

I really do not know what he is going to do with the Aston once he has finished with it, I cannot imagine anybody would want to own a car like that which had been bodged to hell.
I do think at some point he will do a win a car, raffle competition on some of his cars.

Great news, however from what I understand his youtube channel is still live so he will still be making money seems strange that they have not pulled it or banned him.
Youtube should do the decent thing an demonetize any channel that effectively allows crims to make money from criminal activity. The law should be able to go after youtube as an accessory/aiding/abetting etc.
Wouldn't this revenue potentially be seen as proceeds from crime? He's committed the offence, documented it, been convicted of it, so surely he shouldn't be able to earn from it? I don't know, I am just guessing here. Perhaps someone with more knowledge of the law might be able to clear that up?

I actually haven’t followed the Zenvo series too closely as the car doesn’t do much for me but were they always targeting launch at FOS ?

If not, I am kinda waiting for an announcement that it still needs to go back for a shakedown or something and maybe it was rushed to get there.

I know Tim isn’t ever too bothered about residual values but someone somewhere in the depths of his insurance provider is - I can’t help but think this is the modern day Sinclair c5 and in a bold spec his resale market is limited to back to the factory only…
It will not be sold, it is a demo / loan or has a guaranteed buy back, no way has he spent over 1.2 million buying it.

By all accounts his channel has now been pulled / deleted

It was always LHD as he said that help with resell, my guess is he did not have a choice, to me it will not be on the channel long 6mths maybe and it will be back to Zenvo as a demo.

Statement from West Yorkshire Police:

“The man behind a notorious Leeds-based YouTube channel that featured him driving performance cars dangerously and at high speed on busy public roads has been convicted at court.

Adeel Habib, aged 25, from Harehills, who ran the Certi Drivers channel which had more than 68,000 subscribers, pleaded guilty to both dangerous driving and a relatively rare offence of encouraging dangerous driving under the Serious Crime Act 2007.

The offences were committed between December 2020 and October 2021.

He was charged following an investigation by officers from the Leeds North-East Neighbourhood Policing Team.

Habib came to their attention during work to target dangerous driving and anti-social behaviour at illegal car meets in Leeds and West Yorkshire that were attracting large numbers of people from across the region to industrial estates, retail parks and the road network.

Operations involving roads policing officers and other specialist resources were put in place to disrupt and deter the Sunday evening events that generally started from Habib’s Certi Touch workshop, in Florence Street, Harehills.

Neighbourhood policing officers pored over hours of online videos posted by Habib to build up an evidential picture of his own dangerous driving and its ability to encourage others to follow his bad example.

Clips showed him driving a range of high-performance cars dangerously on public roads, including at excessive speeds, weaving in and out of traffic, racing other drivers, and ignoring red traffic lights.

While under investigation for the driving offences, Habib was sentenced to four years imprisonment for his part in a drugs supply conspiracy.

He subsequently pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and an offence of doing an act which was capable of encouraging or assisting dangerous driving, intending to encourage or assist in its commission.

He appeared at Leeds Crown Court by videolink yesterday and was sentenced to 27 months and was disqualified from driving.

Inspector Richard Horn, who heads the Leeds North-East Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Habib has been shown to be someone who regularly engaged in dangerous driving on public roads with all the potential risk of harm to other road users that accompanies such appalling behaviour.

“He was absolutely shameless about it and showed utter contempt for law-abiding road users and the law by regularly posting videos of his antics to impress his many followers.

“Those videos and the notoriety that surrounded his ‘brand’ clearly had the ability to influence others to flout road traffic laws and put other road users at risk, and he was rightly charged with an offence that specifically recognised that aspect of his behaviour.

“His own arrogance was his downfall in that those videos provided us with a rich seam of material to present to the court and have him answer for his actions.

“We hope his conviction and the sentence he has received will provide some source of reassurance to the public who I am sure will have been horrified by his dangerous driving and glamourising of it.

“It should also send a very clear message to those who think they can take part in and promote criminal behaviour in this way without having to face the consequences.”

Happy days! Although the arrogant prick will probably wear his conviction like a badge of honour.
Great news, however from what I understand his youtube channel is still live so he will still be making money seems strange that they have not pulled it or banned him.

The channel seems to be named after his business? He must surely have the sentence reduced for helping with the investigation.

Looks like STG has produced his first 45 minutes of content on his impending 992 order. Many, many more hours to come before it hits V200.

I knew it reminding me of something, but I think that's it - nice.

I'm happy for Shmee that he's got to the position in life where he can obtain one of these - via what means, loan, demo, money tree, I do not care - supercars and drive around in it. I don't much care for the Zenvo myself - I think the Gumpert Apollo comparison was fair - but he's driving one and I'm not, so I doubt he'll care what I think about it anyway biggrin

Think I'm more interesting what views it gets, compared to the other stuff in the Shmee fleet.

Spotted this at Bicester on Sunday. Seemed a bit odd. Why would someone have fake Shmee plates?
Looks to me (right hand edge) that it is stuck over a real plate?

Either that, or I remember Tim complaining before that people were registering Shmee plates and trying to sell them to him (inflated obvs)
Minus 100 PH points all-round for not noticing that it's a pre-facelift Evora, so at least 8 years old but wearing a 71 plate. Very obviously not that car's real plate nerd

On Shmee's Zenvo, I think that's a bloody lovely spec. Not sure about the dual zone interior, but it you're going to have a million quid car with an enormous tilting wing, why not have it in purple with dayglo green accents? That carbon weave pattern in the nose stripe looks superb too!

I had a poke around the Zenvo stand at last year's FoS, they'd never really registered on my radar before. Absolutely spectacular up close, and the one they sent up the hill sounded like the hounds of hell being unleashed.

The thing with the Zenvo is that it is so old tech underneath for the money, steel ladder chassis etc, cannot remember the exact figures but I think it is over 300kg heavier than the Senna.

Also daft really that the SF90 is as quick if not quicker for a fraction of the price.

100% The only Zenvo I have seen is the GT version a couple of year ago and it does make a statement!

That front end still reminds me of a Transit Connect with an aggressive body kit... I just can't get excited by a Zenvo.

I do like the colour combo though, and that carbon weave is very impressive. But that interior just looks very low rent, especially the steering wheel.

Still, looking forward to seeing it driven hard as I'm sure it'll be doing a few laps of the 'Ring at some point.
The colour looks nice, I like purple myself though.

Yeah the interior is on the basic side, but what are we putting it up against, Bugatti, Koenigsegg, Pagani nobody can compete with these, Ferrari and Porsche maybe, from what I have seen of Zenvo the cars are supposed to be a bit on the raw side, more old-school sound and feel, and if you have a Zenvo you buy it because you want it and you have other cars to drive.

Pommy said:
Am I being overly critical but those panels look 'gappy'...
Yes, I think you are, the front and rear clams you can see, but they don't look bigger than others in the same category other than Bugatti, the doors look fine, there are no other panels.

To be fair the car looks significantly better than the purple lens’d sunglasses he is trying to flog as part of the video.
I have some of those sunglasses, not the Shmee ones but the Future ones and they are a very nice pair of sunglasses imo.

I agree, and the thing is the car is different and yes like a Gumpert Apollo or even a B Engineering Edonis and that is what he wants and to be fair I would not buy a Zenvo, unless I had all the others like Bugttai, Pagani and Koenigsegg etc, the review that sums the car up for me is the Carfection one.

The car is not a bad car, it's just different he could have got a LFA or CGT but he didn't want to.

I can't get over how broken that spoiler looks. I'd be pulling the fuse from that circuit before the first drive. If it were possible to make a car look, how can I say this, a bit special, but not in the good way, then they've done it.

For a million quid, there is SO much more special metal you could have. Tim (Cheers) has either got a cracking deal, or had a spectacular imagination bypass.

Interesting feature on the rear wing: https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/car-technolo... it is in real terms pointless, all the road tests I have watched and it looks ready to fall off.

I just cannot see why anybody would buy one of these, as you said so many better choices for the money.

How is buying something totally different to everyone else out there unimaginative?

The Zenvo sure isn’t my taste, but at least it isn’t another Ferrari or Audi.

I think having to take it back to Denmark every time it has a fault or needs a service would get tiresome over time.

But think of the content.

"My Zenvo needs a service or it's WORTHLESS."

"Booking my Zenvo in for a service. CAN I GET THERE?"

"Will my Zenvo get on to the ferry? IS IT DOOMED?"

PS although that actually would make an interesting video... I reckon a couple of days there, what with with the trip over, a reasonably long-distance test/shakedown and a nose around the factory/service bay would be worth a watch,

With many "specialist" cars, often the techs come to you. From memory the LFA can be serviced at any Toyota dealer, they just send the techs to it.

I am sure Tim has a plan for servicing and the like.

Ended up watching a bit of Mat Armstrong, not bad content but it's *so* drawn out, and everything ends up being OK at a glance (and from a distance) but half arsed if you look at all closely. Big stuff done but all sorts just skipped underneath, especially anything that needs a clip or a bolt.

He's enthusiastic but too much subtle lazy bodgery for me.
I got sucked into his content as well. I quickly decided to stop watching him as soon as I found out he's a buy-to-let landlord (aka tts). I can imagine his properties are also botch jobs like his cars.
