Not going to give anything away other than to say it was my favourite episode of the series and Darth Vader was probably as menacing and hateful as he’s ever been in any Star Wars production.

Vader has been brilliantly portrayed in this, and the confrontation was great- much more what Lucas should have done with them in Ep.3. The rest of the final, meh.

I don’t even know what to make of all that.

There was about as much fan service as was possible to cram in to that. And half of it was in the dark.

An entertaining enough series, let’s see what Mando3 brings.

Phew.

Luckily Obi Wan remembered how to use the Force just in time.

Really rather well.

Training never leaves you. Put in the work and the scriptwriters will finally come up trumps.

Has anyone else found the colouring very dark?

On my TV there are 4 modes. 2 of them the picture is very bright but on 4k everyone looks so real it looks fake if you get me. So I use Filmaker mode, but with Obi Wan I've had to switch to the other modes as I can't see what's happening in the dark bits. Never had to do this eith anything else.

Obi one doesn't learn his lesson again and allows Anikin to live once more.

That seems to be a Disney+ / Star Wars thing. I've not been able to see naff all in the darkness in many scenes of Mando.

Isn’t that the whole point?

It’s why their final battle ends the way it does?

It was mostly good, probably because there wasn't much script this week.

Other than the pathetic and unbelievable survival of someone skewered by a light sabre and left to die alone on an uninhabited planet. Pointless.

I wonder if there'll be a S2, for what I think was the weakest TV Star Wars?

Half way through Ep6 and I can hardly see anything. It's practically unwatchable no matter what settings I pick.

It would really mess up the timeline if he did learn his lesson though wouldn't it, Episode IV, V and VI to get Vader edited out and a new baddie put in?

Not bothered with any of the cartoon series.
I was the same, but after someone recommended them on another thread, I gave it a go. Clone Wars slowly improved over the first couple of series and became very good. I'm part way through Rebels now.

Might have been me, I've been banging on about it for years, if you want Star wars really padding out and see some of the best story lines give the animated series a watch.

Just finished the last episode. Brilliant series, so much better than Mando and Book of Boba Fett.

Would like to see a second series, but equally would be happy enough if they left it there.

I think it might've been you. Thank you. Yes, better writing, and acting than this.

Any time they trot out the original John Williams score I get goosebumps.

That was a good ending to a decent series. Wonder if we will see series 2.

Meanwhile roll on Andor.

So having hit Vader in the chest several times with the butt of hs saber one might ask why he didn't just use the sharp end?
