One of the other issues I have with it is why has Kenobi let himself get so rusty, his job is to protect Luke while he grows up, hard to train someone if you have forgotten most of your own skills. Surely you would keep yourself in tip top shape in the eventuality that st was going to go down at some point and you'd have to fight again.

Also didn't he know Ani was still alive already he didn't kill him and Padme said there's still good in him, along with his force powers he should still already know/feel he's alive?
Force powers did'nt exactly help with Palpatine either

When Leia recorded the holo-message into R2D2 to OB1 in A New Hope she doesn't mention that he saved her when she was a kid.

A New Hope has all sorts of things that don't exactly line up with the rest of the story, especially when it comes to Leia.

Best not to look to hard at it.

He had to hide his powers...

In public fair enough, but he's living in a cave at the arse end of nowhere.
Pretty sure he could be lifting some boulders or doing some training in his cave without anyone seeing, unless you are detected by other force users only when using your powers.

Didn't Reva sense Harja or whatever his name wasnt a Jedi just by giving him a once over.

Because he’s broken. The whole point of the scene with him and the other Jedi was to show the point…he’s been a broken man. The flashback dreams/nightmares with AS are to show him as haunted and a shadow of his former self.
This is not a difficult concept to get folks.
He lost.
They lost.
It’s all over.
They’re all dead dave, they’re dead dave. Dave, they are dead.
It really doesn’t need much in depth thinking about.

Enjoyed ep 2 more than 1. But they don't half leave gaping holes in the plot everywhere. And that Reva actress really can't act. She's making the woman who plays Michael Burnham in Discovery seem like Judi Dench.

Sad that the main bad guy, who had presence and menace even early doors, has been replaced by the lady who just seems angry but without any energy. The scene of her waving her light sabre shouting as the ship departed was frankly embarrassing.

Don't worry the bad guy launches himself in to fire after being defeated by Kanan Jarrus in about 6 years so I don't think he's kicked the bucket just yet

That was spectacularly rubbish.

"Aha! Kenobi! I have you!
(wait there while I talk to my boss and kill him)

Kenobi, come back here!"

More embarrassing than little Leia "running" through the forest and outpacing baddies.

Funny how the only actor you've taken issue with is the Emmy nominated, Princess Grace award winning, widely anticipated Moses Ingram, and by your own admission exclusively because she's black.

Racist moron.
If she has won those gongs, did she leave that version of herself at the after party, because she's crap in this. Tbf that could be what she is given to work with, but it's not a good look on the resume for future employers.

Were also only 2 episodes in and the real twitter drama seems to be how Obi and Vader meet only 10 years before ANH and this 'ruins' Star, wars. Now I'm a dyed in the wool last jedi hater but even I'm struggling to agree with the folks screaming about Kenobi continuity. 10 years is still a long time, so the line in new hope still works

Living in the desert must age you terribly, if this is 10 years before ANH. Kenobi basically ages from early-mid 40s looking to about early 70s in that time.

They don't use it then, Palps had bad skin, Grand Inquisitor bad skin, Vader (although that was more volcano related).

Can honestly say I quite enjoyed it, but that I’ve never wanted a character to be punished for their stupidity more than young Leia. If she wasn’t wearing plot armour she should have died multiple times, and would have deserved it. biggrin
