I just watched the final episode. It was pretty much business as usual and I enjoyed it. They'll be missed when they end it all, because there's nobody else quite like them.

I enjoyed it. Could have cut out a lot of the contrived stuff at no loss at all.
It would have made for a very short program if they had. By contrived, I assume you mean the bits that were written and prepared in advance before acting it out.

I really enjoyed this latest one. The scenery, the locations, some of the creative activities.

You have to wonder how they keep churning this stuff out which whilst having a lot of rinse and repeat content, still has stuff making it worth watching.

That was a neat trick - it's not out yet!

I mean the skits, like everyone else does. It's a choice they make, obviously, but like a lot of people it is the other parts of the shows that keep me coming back.

The main issue I've had with TGT is, when at this point you know how much it is scripted, half the time you can just see the "stunts" and "accidents" coming. While it was the same in Top Gear, I felt a good portion of it was covered up, or played out in a way where you thought "wait was that scripted or not?" For example when they set the caravan on fire when Jeremy was trying to make chips. Top Gear made a lot of it seem like genuine accidents/silliness.

Apologies, I was joking.

But I imagine some also like the contrived bits too.

Bit like hearing jokes and enjoying them even though you know the punchline.

Although I don’t think they’ve definitively said that it's the end of TGT have they?

You're a strange one. You obviously don't like it, which is fair enough, we all like different things, but you seem to find it incomprehensible that others do like it. And why would you get excited as to whether it was the last one or not? If you don't like it, which you clearly don't, just don't watch another. Seems a strange thing to get excited about when you could just not watch it anyway.

Or perhaps you like watching things you don't like so you can moan about how you don't like it? hehe

Last with the trio, the next one additionally has Clarkson's carer, May's proctologist and Hammonds accident insurance agent with them.

On your point though, ‘if’ you did enjoy moaning, does it matter? as long as you’re enjoying yourself?

The only joyless one i suppose is the person who doesnt enjoy your moaning hehe

Strange behaviour. If I watched an episode of Coronation Street, didn't like it, went onto a Coronation Street thread and said I didn't like it after each episode I wouldn't be surprised if people thought I was a knob.
