Although I don’t think they’ve definitively said that it's the end of TGT have they?
Yes. The next one is the last one. It would be a shame not to see the three of them do something together again, I get that some of it is repetitive but I still enjoy watching their shows.

My gut feeling is they will be glad to be unshackled by contractual obligations to work together. It has been enjoyable on some level but has seemed forced and almost phoned in on many more recently, like their worst TG episodes were. And yet, their worst is still better than most any other car based show. I'll be sad when they stop all together but time and tide wait for no man
Even at their worst they are still more entertaining/better than 99.9% of the dross that is on all of the TV world IMHObiggbn said:

+1There are very few "entertainment" programmes I watch on TV these days. Their best years might be behind them but for me I still enjoy watching it. And I could probably re-watch the mongolia episode numerous times before getting bored.
I think that is part of it. The setups are becoming just too obvious...the fuel bowser across the minefield - which was so obvious it was coming due to the way the cars had been conveniently moved to the side and the full tunnel was in the shot, if not dominating it like some bad "found footage" movie. It would have been better for them to have been parked on either side of the road, having some sort of argument across it and whoosh the truck rushes through the shot in the blink of an eye and into the minefield.
And again, at the top of the mountain, the diggers and bowser were already there so obviously there is a way up and down. The snowmobile explosion was clever, but again inevitable. It should've just been three to five seconds of it heading towards the bowser in the distance, May going "What's that" BOOM. Like the errant lawnmower in India. It used to be far more subtle

Weirdly, every season and every episode of The Grand Tour is coming up 'Video unavailable'. I'm UK based. Anyone else getting this?
Just tried, working for me. Using a VPN? PF62 said:

"becoming" - When were any of the setups not obvious, even when they were on TG?Who on here hasn't taken a Japanese garden of contemplation with them down the M4?
I know that I have, several times in fact.
