Looking forward to this - but watching will have to wait until after the Goodwood weekend.

I'll be on that one!

Tried watching a McGuiness/Flintoff TG episode the other day, the one in Mexico, but had to give up after 15 mins....too annoying!
Not wishing to turn this into another TG v GT presenters discussion but it's the same for me. I don't mind the current TG presenters and still watch it but have zero interest in watching any of the episodes again.
Yet, I'll quite happily browse through old TG episodes with Clarkson etc., especially the road trip ones, and stick one of them on.
(With the caveat that there is a lot of poor stuff in there as well)

Got to say that trailer actually had me chuckling….. a bit…

Can’t say anything either TG or TGT has done that for awhile, looks like fun.

The Grand Tour is still overall better than current Top Gear.
sad but true. I haven't watched new TG for ages. McGuinness and Flintoff's accents are unbelievably irritating
That’s because they’re not from “dan sarf “.
Neither are Clarkson (born in Doncaster) or Hammond (Solihull) ?

I haven’t watched it yet but I believe it was suppose to be filmed in Russia.

Couple of thoughts

Mays accident, studded tyres on concrete won't have helped his braking, I've driven cars with studs on hard surfaces and it has the same effect on a car that dogs get trying to accelerate on a hard surface, also not sure about the livery on the Subaru, I would have thought that the Iconic livery was the 555 logo's in with the blue, they may have had to change it to 666 or something else but I've always associated Martini with Lancia

Cheers for heads up. Also not bothered about spoilers so clicked on the above. Agreed, very tricky.

What on earth did I watch?

After the relative highs of Carnage A Trois, this was the absolute low of all the specials so far.

A couple of unfunny set-pieces that go on for far too long, stuck together with hours of pointless padding, and the three protagonists phoning-it-in at every moment.

Is this the last one they’re contractually obliged to do? For everyone’s sake I hope it is.

They all seem to be working relavitely hard on their post-TGT careers, so presumably they're near the end.

It was ok up to the sheds on the skis then my interest drifted off. They do look worse for wear, not sure how May carried on.

No spoilers for those who've not had a chance to watch it already today.

I watched it today, you know, WFH... wink

Usual things to be expected, but, yeah, James May did very well.

I thought that, unusally, it wasn't always clear which bits were scripted and which weren't.

Thought it was pretty good, better than 97% of other stuff on TV.

My wife very much enjoyed Hammond trying to get up the drag lift.

I laughed too.

I assumed the second part of that was a joke that had gone over my head.
