Agree with the comments so far, it was OK and much better than most tosh on TV but they were phoning it in and banking those fat Amazon cheques.

I'd actually have preferred them to do it seriously. That scenery and those cars would have been enough for me.

A telling part was the on screen nerd warning before they reeled off a few very none nerdy facts.

Agree with the consensus, it wasn't bad, I laughed on occasions, and made it to the end. Plenty of better specials mind.

As per other comments, I thought it was ok. Better than nothing!

Agree with mk1coopers, as soon as I saw the Martini livery I thought, nope, wrong manufacturer…unless they thought it was a good joke that I’m missing!

They probably couldn't get permission for the 555 livery.

555's is/was a cigarette brand. So, verboten on TV.

Yes, although they changed it years ago to a blob blob blob livery. Presumably permission wasn't forthcoming nevertheless.

I wonder which livery would James's car have sported......scratchchin

Would have made a good top gear episode but stretching it to an hour and a half was pushing it. Not bad by any means though. Just a bit lazy in terms of ideas

It was clear the ice incident was a set up but was the tunnel incident? Looked pretty real to me.

Have you not seen the news? It was an actual accident.

Pretty sure the tunnel crash was real.

Very watchable I thought.

I found the ski lift scene to be very predictable, childish and bloody funny.

Agree with the above poster, I’d have enjoyed a serious feature showing all 3 cars driving that across magnificent scenery in 4k.

As a whole it was better than 95% of what’s on tv, but that’s not difficult these days.

I enjoyed it and glad it was feature length rather than just over an hour, you wait a long time for one so want it to last.

Obviously the usual scripted nonsense but sit back with a beer, don't take it too serious and it's a good laugh.

I may be biased as I got married in Levi biggrin

It is so staged as to be cringy.

It needn’t be like that, probably easier than doing it properly……
