The Grand Tour (Vol. 2)
Discussion
I watched Lochdown on Thursday then Carnage a Trois on Friday and thought the latest one was much better.
I thought it was a traditional return to form for the trio and I really enjoyed it.
There seemed to be more visual gags compared with recent previous episodes, and the mock French accents were funny.
Altogether more laugh out loud moments in this episode.
Im sure I must have missed some of the visual gags so I am planning to watch it again.

And Mrs Browns boys is genuinely funny, like the original TG.
That would be a matter of opinion. I find it completely unfunny. Fermit said:
I thought it was good entertainment. One bit which creased me, blink and you'd miss it. When on the race track, IIRC Hammond on film, far away in the background was James still struggling to get out of the Aventime with it's heavy door
Just watched it today and that bit had me chuckling probably longer than it should have. I enjoyed the episode; harked back to Top Gear of old. Doofus said:

Do you have any examples to support your assertion?I said that I find MBB to be funnier than Mirander.
But it was deleted by the (one of) the mods.

Nah to be honest it’s more like comparing Miranda with Mrs Brown’s Boys.
Both TGT and TG are just base humour at their core, lets be honest neither are high brow viewing ;-)

it was lazy stuff, but i guess with lockdown was best that could happen. Still worth a watch.
Lazy is a great way to describe it. I cannot see how putting on French accents and regurgitating stereotypes is, or ever was, amusing, and can only surmise those who found it funny, and use Mrs Browns Boys as a yardstick, thought 'Allo 'Allo was cutting edge comedy....and yet, and yet...each to their own. My dad and his wife love Mrs Browns Boys, and I still laugh at old Marx brothers films so there is no right in this discussion!!biggbn said:

I found the French accents funny. I occasionally watched Allo Allo and found that funny too.
I have no interest in Mrs Brown's Boys.
Marx Brothers along with Laurel and Hardy etc are timeless classics.
We are all different.
