All 4 are ridiculously weak.
1/2 the team negotiate a losing price before a dish is washed

Dish washer gets fired

As crap as he has consistantly been - no chance to turn it into a profit.

What was the point of the task?

The whole series has felt massively staged to me, unlike previous series. Like the corporate clients being really difficult etc, just setting them up to fail, almost like they’re acting out a role for tv.

Definitely gone off watching it, really couldn’t care less who wins as none of them have shown any real acumen.
Agreed man.. as half-soaked as some (most) of the candidates are, the whole thing feels so scripted and directed that it's frustrating to watch at times.

Next season - sack 15 of them in 1 episode and save us the slow train wreck.
The contestants are chosen for their incompetence, inability to work with each other, get on each others tits.

It is car crash TV - but the contestants just do not understand the basics regardless of specific task.

So they paid £28 a head for food and they have to cook it themselves?!
That didnt sit right, both teams negotiating for mid - high end meals they had to cook and serve themselves.
A marks n sparks ready meal with drinks for a tenner would have been nicer and cheaper.

Utter shower of ste this now.

Nick may not have done much but he and Akshay were screwed over by Stephanie and Kathryn. He should have gone weeks ago, but based on tonight he shouldn't have gone. Stephanie should have gone, and maybe Kathryn with her as they fked the job from the start.

It's obvious the remaining 4 just had a better business plan than than the one who was fired.

Agree with most of the comments, it’s definitely gone down hill.

And what’s going on with Sur Alan’s puns. He now seems to have a pun shoe-horned into every sentence, sounds ridiculously staged. Is he looking to move into the stand up circuit in the future?

Sugar definitely needs a new scriptwriter. Show needs shaking up big time.

Agreed. High end meals are only high end of prepared and served correctly. No point paying top whack money and then getting these clowns to prepare it.

I could buy caviar, lobster and champagne and charge £250 per head, but if I had to cook and prepare it then by the time I'd and got it to the table it would resemble an out of date Tesco meal deal found in the reduced section with a yellow price sticker, with dozens of immigrants crowded around snatching like vultures.

I may have fallen asleep, I admit, but at what point did they change from negotiating high class catering to serving up crap they made themselves ?

Unfortunately I think this will be my last season having avidly watched every year. the staging of the car doors opening simultaneously and them marching in straight lines with regulated gaps is now grating as is the pretend one minute phone call per day.
Am watching this one to the end purely to find out what their actual business plan is out of curiosity now rather than willing one of them to win. If he sacked the lot and finished it without a winner it would be more real life now.

Agree with the other comments made (we make the same ones every week hehe ), just a shame that the show has had to resort to such low levels of scripted 'entertainment' turning it into a sham.
As for last night, as plenty of others have said, what was the food thing all about ? Negotiate a price and then cook it yourself, wtf ?
I'm glad the 2 girls got called out for the hopeless tour they did, it seemed unfair to begin with that they turned up early and then pushed all the blame on the boys as the boys hadn't seen what a balls up the girls had made of the tour.
Akheem though, that boy needs to start buying some lottery tickets given the luck he has. It would be good if they mixed it up a bit and just for once, even though you're on the winning side, Sugar sits there thinking and then just sacks someone from the winning team simply because they are utterly useless.
Convinced that they know right from the beginning who they want in the final and that the teams and tasks are just manipulated each week so they end up with the correct people in the final. Last night it would have been easy for them to come up with some fake refunds to fudge the figures if the 'wrong' team had won.

Anyway, same time next week ?!

Nick's time was up. It'll be miraculous if Akshay survives the boardroom after volunteering to be project manager.
