"Sherwood" - BBC1 drama series
Discussion
It looks like the explanation she gave to Kevin in the pub was true. Violent abuse in the past, new identity for her own protection. Maybe an element of witness protection or something? She kept it secret because she wanted to leave it all in the past and didn't want to be defined by it. I think the explanation was deliberately hazy to keep us wondering if she was making it up and was actually Keats.

I'm not sure we need another series, hopefully they can maintain the standard of the first.
How many real events in Nottinghamshire have there been for them to loosely base another series on ?I don't know about maintaining the standard, I thought it was pretty poor overall

Another example of don't let the truth get in the way of a good story....... The actual facts would have made some good TV, same as the last series....I don't know about maintaining the standard, I thought it was pretty poor overall

Stephen Tompkinson. He was in Brassed Off, Ballykissangel and Drop the Dead Donkey.
I was surprised his part was so small, a bit like Moxy but it's good when this happens as then it's not necessarily Wogan's Rule when it comes to whodunnit (i.e. the most well know actor 'did it').If you want more good detective drama the Inspector Banks series where Stephen Tompkinson takes the title role are worth watching and often repeated or available for download. They're quite close to the books too, if you enjoy TV that isn't just the character name and everything else if different.
