A tad early perhaps, but with today's news confirming it will be held in the UK I thought a thread was worthy.

Info will be added as soon as location and ticket details become available.

For the true diehards there will be the six day ticket, two semi finals and the final and a rehearsal for each, they also do a 7th show on Saturday for families.

I doubt any other broadcaster bid to host this wretched festival of tastelessness and tat.
Sky Netflix Disney Amazon all must have been outbid
Well done BBC, what a good use of taxpayer's moolah.

Not the first time the BBC has stepped in to host the Eurovision when the previous year's winners could not.

I thought the idea was that Eurovision was to be held outside of a war zone?

So Liverpool has been chosen to host Eurovision on behalf of Ukraine.

A poor, war torn place where the people have a poor grasp of English and a chip on their shoulder about their history as they roam the desolate streets stealing what they can to survive, Liverpool seems like a strange choice for such a high profile event.

I'm late to the party on this one as was out.

You'll need a lot of luck. 11,000 capacity. A lot will be reserved for the various fan clubs.

But.... The Final is on Saturday but the Jury vote final is on Friday, with rehearsals for both earlier in the day. For me, it would have to be the Saturday evening Final.

Get those hotel rooms booked. Prices up and lots already gone. Mine can be easily cancelled if I don't manage to get those important tickets.

Thanks Sir! Definitely a long shot to get tickets but will do my best. Good shout on the hotels though! Hope you get tickets.

I have zero interest in the comp but I quite like this potential Irish entry by John Lydon/PIL. It's about his wife who has Alzheimers.

Well it was always going to be tough and it certainly didn't help that the TM website was giving errors. Was in the queue nice and early and then got booted.

I know Eurovillage village will be available but I might just have to settle for the TV. Again.

Yeah, same here. Seems a pretty generic song that never do well at Eurovision.
Didn't we use to do a public vote for the UK entry?

The song is pants but I think we’ll get some solidarity/gratitude/comradeship points due to the circumstances around Ukraine.

5th is my guess.
