That looks great, I hope it's not a really slow burner though and they get on with the story, rather than trying to drag it out for as many seasons as possible.

(the girl playing Ellie looks familiar, wasn't she in Game of Thrones?)

Loved the first game, didn't really gel with the second game annoyingly (at some point I think I'll try it again) so very keen to see what this is like.

That's it, couldn't think of the characters name, thanks.

The 2nd game is OK, I initially struggled with it, especially as you spend time playing the antagonist which I think is a new one for a game. But the story was good in the end.

I think I gave up a fair way into playing the antagonist.

I do love the overall world the game is set in, and the gameplay etc, so I'm tempted to treat myself to a PS5 and the updated version of the first one then start from the beginning and play both games through.

That said, I've not even turned my PS4 on for months, so not sure if I'd actually get around to doing the above.

Back on track though: please let the TV show be good.

Not so sure about that, given what happens at the end of the first game. TLOU 1 & 2 are nothing if not all sorts of morally ambiguous.

Would this have sounded more exciting before every other tv show became about a/some survivors of an event?

Yeah possibly, it's become a well trodden path in the last few years.

As this is HBO will only be in the UK on Sky Atlantic? If so, that sucks! frown

Bugger, Sky Atlantic, which means like House of Dragon I'll be having to find another way to see it (Not seen House of Dragon either yet).

Reviews are coming in and they’re looking very good.
This starts next Tuesday Sky Atlantic.

Hoping Mrs UTH likes it so much she asks me to play the game so she can watch haha

Well this idea has been done to death already but lets give it a chance.
One of the 'quality' papers gave it a good review but thats when the alarm bells start to ring.

I know of the game, but haven't played it all the way through, so won't be annoyed by inconsistencies. Little Lady Mormont was great in Game of Thrones, so shall be looking forward to this.

Every review I’ve seen has been good, the game was brilliant, so I’m confident on this one.

Games are much more involving, a completely different experience.

I’m old lucky enough having played Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Tomb Raider, Street Fighter, Max Payne and (recently) Uncharted series. shoot
