58 here. Just completed the ps4 remastered yesterday having previously played on ps3 years ago. Every bit as good as I remembered and look forward to binging the TV series. Have just ordered part 2 from amazon which I haven't previously played.
Just have to warn you that TLOU2 has spoilers for season 2.

Nope. Played by a pair of twins (a boy and a girl)

The Podcast is worth a listen, explains some superb stuff.
It does, and I have listened to the first 5, but I’m not sure it’s great that a lot of the choices they make as creators don’t really carry onto the screen until they explain them - mostly because of the pacing I think.

Cheers! Kind of figured it might. smile

But I'm quite happy to know the plot from the games and already being invested before watching the tv show. Am also well aware of the nature of controversies pt2 caused.

Yeah, there was only one controversy I cared about.

How Joel kept such a well trimmed beard while only carrying scissors and no other grooming products or a mirror with him?

This is my problem with all post apocalyptic dramas.

I'm a mess after a week of not shaving and or grooming smile

My beard grows at a glacial pace. I'll be fine for the duration.

Medicine.

Always useful. Always required.

Restock on other non-sustainable supplies.

They've been living in a community for a good while. Returning to entire self-sufficiency overnight is probably less realistic than risking marauders (sp?) for the bounty of man-made goods.
Yes. But pharmacies exist in every neighborhood. Alternatively, drive to near the city centre and walk from there.

I really enjoyed it but at the same time felt it could have been so much better if they added a few more episodes and made them an hour each. Felt almost rushed. Iv never played the second game so maybe I won't get that feeling in season 2 though.

As for computer game adaptions it was very well done, second favourite after Halo. That show was perfection.

Last episode seemed to be blink and you'll miss it, but quite powerful.

AND in the attic room , at night, with bright lights swinging away with the curtains open. Just open the windows and shout.....OVER HERE< I'M OVER HERE. FFS. There are chemists everywhere, my old town has 5 Walgreens and 4 CVS. Let alone dozens of small Pharmacies. Didnt they stock up big time from the 2 old guys house b4 they left. Sometimes I pull my hair out.

They did, then they lost their car, ditching their supplies as a result, which you would have remembered were you not tripping over yourself to have a whine. Pity you can't put your hair back in eh?

It's 20 years since the outbreak though so a lot will be cleaned out already.

That's one thing I found a little hard to believe.

Every inch of the entire country will have been picked clean within months or weeks.

The odds of stumbling across anything old world that's still of use two decades down the line would be hopeless.

Whatever remains and hasn't been used up will be lorded over by some geezers in loincloths wearing antlers.

20 years later, I keep forgetting.

Surely that's enough time to be back to a proper government, some kind of normal living.

After all, there has been no nuclear winter or massive destruction of infrastructure.

Mmmm, thinking too much, and it is the US, who'd love to go back to the Wild West.

Savages hehe

Bet in England and most of Europe, all is fine and dandy again.
